There are various advantages of choosing DU for undergraduate education. With the vast pool of students coming to study from across India, Delhi University not only offers quality education to the students but also provides maximum exposure for personality development. I decided to pursue Maths because it is an ideal joint honours subject, for its teachings can be a foundation for study in computer science, engineering and statistics among others.

Course Curriculum Overview The curriculum of DU for Maths Honors is very good and relevant to provide specific knowledge for the field of mathematics. The curriculum provides practical knowledge that are very helpful in campus placement. There are also arrange many seminars to provide knowledge of various carrier prospects. Faculty There are total 26 subjects in 3 years and the university are provide the lectures that are helpful in study. In this course mostly students passed in age of 21. Also the lecturer give lectures that are provide practical experience. They provide full clarity about the career.
Placement Experience
Placement Wing A lot of companies take participation in campus placement programme. The steps in campus placements are GD and interview. 20-30% of students get placement from the college. Most students go for higher studies and also rest of them go for jobs on their own. The highest package was around 8-9 lacs whereas the average package was 3 lacs per annum.
College Events
Campus Life The gender ratio in college is very good. There are no difference between girls and boys. Both provides equal opportunities. The each and every students respect each other and provide security. There are no difference between in any religion, any caste, any ideology. College Events The college celebrates many events like annual function, culture function, national days celebrating. Also we have the annual college fest and the various annual departmental fests. The mathematical department has it's Annual fest GANITAM every year with an amazing footfall. Also this year our department successfully organized a 3 day long national conference which included teachers taking part from across the nation.Mostly students actively take part in all the events.
