I chose the college because of the goodwill it has and the comparatively lower fees. Also, the claims of providing excellent staff and quality education along with a promise of developing overall personality triggered me to take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
Honestly, I’m not quite satisfied with the college. It’s not what it promised to be. Talking about the teaching faculties, though most of them are really good at teaching, they are really partial towards some students, specially hostellers. Teachers do provide the theoretical knowledge but doesn’t care enough for the practical application. Though the curriculum is really well designed, it includes for personality development, communication skills, etc, but I personally don’t think teachers are dedicated enough to them. All they just care about is their syllabus to be completed on time. But this doesn’t apply to all the lecturers, some of them are really good too.
Placement Experience
There is indeed a placement cell in the college. Various companies do come but not many students are willing to take up job after graduation. And also, not many good companies visit college. Though, companies like UCO Bank do hire students. Also, the placement rate is not very high
College Events
The college celebrates various functions and in a fantastic way, providing every possible facility, helping participants in ever possible way and making the event as enjoyable as possible. But the selection for participants is really really biased. They don’t care about how talented you are or what good can you add to the team. They just select students who are either from hostel or are liked by teachers.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, the college doesn’t provide any scholarships or loans. The fees can be paid in instalments but no additional benefits.
Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is really good. College is equipped with a marvellous ground, indoor stadium, IT labs, a really good library, a canteen, labs for different subjects, sports room, auditorium, etc.
