Remarks

It was a good institute under west Bengal colleges.It comes under techno group which is a really good college providing engineering. The cost was affordable and plus it was not very far away from my home.

Course Curriculum Overview

They are good and really supportive.I totally appreciate the effort they put in teaching and making us understand any particular topic. If I ask any question they are really always there.

Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Placement Experience

It's good overall. It really depends on your cgpa and how well you are performing to others and yes the placements are good. The companies that come in campusinh are great and offer high salary jobs. Thank you.

College Events

Campus life is good. There are a lot of programs held throughout the year. We enjoy a lot. Lots and lots of competition are held and we are eager to participate in such events. The snu building in our campus also organize such events and we are invited to participate.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is really great of my college. I am mesmerized by it. I don't know what to say about it. Library and labs have all the needful things. It is always cleaned and the view is great.

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
