Remarks

I can say if you are right and loyal then every member of college wil here you. Management is not much strict during our time. We didnot follow dresscode in our batch but later batch follows that. You should have personal intense of learning if you want to grab more, and for plaement, I could say - please attain all the campus, you will surely get job.

Entrance Preview

After completing AIEEE and securing a good rank I got admission in this college ( also OJEE entrance people can come to this college with a good rank). When I come to this college at that time it ranked 8th among Odisha's all Engineering college, and it was famous for ETC branch so I took admission in that branch and also finally got placement in WIPRO Technologies.

Yes, here they follow BPUT (Bijuattnaik University and Technology) provided course pattern and also having a mix of highly experienced and fresher faculties.

Internships Opportunities

I had great memorable 4 yrs with this college. I sat only 1 on-campus Wipro in which I got selected. Apart from that some off-campus and some pooled-campus also comes. (Note- TCS and Infosys doesnot come here and Synergy has a tie up with Wipro). Also indian Army, Bhusan SteelPlant, Vedanta companies comes here.

Placement Experience

In form of percentage we can say they provide placement of 20-30%. In our batch we sucure the highest placement which was around 40+ % but in next batch onwards figure started decreasing.

College Events

Every year our college arrange 1 big festival in which some great singers and dances comes. That festival works for 2 days and in some case 3 days.

Fees and Financial Aid

For all the scholars having firstclass career can get a schlorshi from Odisha Govt which is of 10K per year.

Campus Life

Everything looks good here if you judge as a loyal person. During our time we had 50-50 gender ratio. We have enjoyed playing cricket there and also they organize 1 annual sports every year.

Hostel Facilities

During our time hostel fees was 26k per year but in next batch onwards it increased upto 32k as i know.Fooding and room are average.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

All faculties are helpful and having enough knowledge to let us understand any topic.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For csit the subjects kee changing accroding to the trendy stuffs that are currently going on but it was really hard to keep with that when all your subjects are changed and you have o idea or previous year qs to geta reference from. Exams are conducted continously with no gaps and its not a easy stuff students get lot of stress but still somehow manage.

A Complete Review of KIIT University from a Student's View

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities at KIIT are quite good, especially for us the CSE students.The eligibility criteria for campus placements starts from 7th semester. Many well-known companies visit the university every year like TATA Consultancy Services , Infosys, Wipro, Accenture and Capgemini.The average package offered is around 6-8 lakhs and highest package offered around per yr avg is 50-60 lakhs.The percentage of students getting placements is around 90% plus in average per yr. After completing my degree, i plan to work in software industry and gain more experience in the field of technology

Placement Experience:

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.

So from 7th semester plcements are starting.Various Tech and Non Tech companies are also coming like TCS ,Accenture, Cognizant, Delloitte, InfoSys, KFinTech, Incture, GyanSys, Iserveu for Tech branches. and PRADAN, Aditya Birla etc for Non tech branches. Students also getting offers from OffCampus like RedHat ,CISCO ,Amazon ,Google. From On Campus Highest Package goes upto 12 to 15LPA and lowest is 4.5 but average is 5 to 6 LPA which is comperable. And about almost all are who are opting for placements got placed eventually.

After 6th semester the students get eligible for company placement. There are huge companies visited every year for the placement and many big MNCs like Amazon offers 100seats , Wipro offers 200, detollite offers 100, microsoft offers 10, ITC offers 150 , Infosys offers 300, TCS offers 200, Flipkart offers 150 and many more . Every year almost 80% of the students get placed at a good company with a minimum of 4 lakhs . After getting the degree I am planning to get placed in a multi national company like Amazon or Microsoft

Placements are ok but majority of the placement are for the IT and Cse sectors, but there are some core companies which offers a good packages. Around 40-50 % students pare placed in the companies and more over most of the students are up for the higher studies and cracking GATE exam.

See basically you placement depends on you .If you work hard you will get placed with a good package.In our college last year the avg package for CSE was around 13 Lakh per annum and highest was about 39 lakh per annum.Companies like Amazon,oracle Microsoft etc visited our college .After 4 th or 5 th semester i Think we are all capable of getting placed .
