Course Curriculum Overview
All core engineering courses except Civil is available. MBA, M.Tech & Ph.D is also available. Curriculum is as per tje AICTE guidelines and it's well coordinated with affiliating university, MDU. As far as industrial exposure is concerned, the college has very good tie-up with the textile industry and it had a mill in the campus, earlier. Director of the institution, Prof. Dr. G.K. Tyagi is an example of academic and managerial perfection.
Placement Experience
The placement completely depends on the branch. For Textile related branch, top companies like Vardhman, Must Garments, Tridents etc. Visits the campus and are accompanied by hundreds of other conpsnies which provides ample opportunities to the students with textile degree. Those with Computer and other degrees are dependent on B-tier company visiting the college, but the college assist the students to participate in off campus placement drives, which in turn, increases the placement percentage.
College Events
There are a dozen active societies in the institution. Different societies manage different activities including oratory, mamgerial, literary, technical, computers, dramatics, fine arts and soft skills. The regular events of the institution includes _ fresher's meet _farewell _Alumni meet _Teacher's day _Women's day
Campus Life
Computer labs have ample number of systems and upgraded softwares. Textile Labs have state of the art vintage machines for practical exposure. There ate three libraries, a two floor central library is accompanied by dedicated textile and Management libraries. The collection of books and journals are quite good. The institution has a stadium sized playground in hostel premises.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is quite affordable and the accommodation costs around 17800 per annum, only. The boys hostel has four separate buildings for each year of B.Tech and single rooms are alloted to the residents. Though rooms are not well furnished and good looking, but looking at the age of the institution and the cost of stay, it's quite justifiable. The hostel has uninterrupted power and water supply, along with average speed wi-fis on each floor.
