College is good and management stage are also good in their work.

Entrance Preview

There is no entrance exam. Qualification is to pass 2nd PUC. IF THE MERIT IN 2ND PUC is high, admission is very easy.

Internships Opportunities

I don't know because, am still studying. After last sem, I can tell. But there is stipend for Ph.D courses.

Placement is good because I heard from my seniors. Companies like wipro, TSC etc. Campus selection is also good.

College Events

Workshop's are held very frequently and this is one of good decision by management. Cultural programme is also Good. Even for fresher's, fresher's day aalso celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For general category per year 5000Rs+Sem fees 1500Rs.Don't know for other category. Fees structure is feasible but the management is rising fees year to year.

For MERIT student there is monthly scholarship. Sports students can also get scholarship as per their ability. For OBC students scholarship is available.

College is making lots of workshops in National level also. Sports is also good because I participated in All India university's completion. There inter college comptetion of sports, singing, quiz's, essay writing etc.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is good in accommodation but did is not good. Facilities are good. Bath rooms are also clean. Sharing of rooms are also is, where ever you want you can take by informing the warden.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are good and they will tell what ever you want. You can reach Seniors easily and they will tell everything about their experience.

Exam Structure

Labs are very good. Exam is also very good.Exam structure is average because they give more holidays between one exam to another. Exams are held for 1 month.

Faculty of the college is average compared to other big colleges like National college (Bangalore).There are many guest faculties and the permanent faculties are less.

Placement Experience:

From final year the students can apply for the placements. At least 60% should be there to be eligible for the placement. Many companies provides placements in this college like infosys, Accenture, Mahindra and many more. The average package as per the company is 200000 per annum and the highest package is 700000 per annum. My plans after getting the degree is to go to abroad for my post graduate.

Placement Experience:

Usually there are placements in our college. If any student does not get a placement the faculty guide us what we can do next like the companies in which we can apply and how we can go further. In my course after finishing the bachelors degree you can further study masters it is available in our college itself or yoj can aplly for companies but if you do your masters you have a better opportunity and high posts for you better career. The course is of 8 semester you become eligible for campus placements in 7th semester. The last year that is seventh and eighth semester is basically practical and lot of projects provided. There various companies are seniors have applied and offered for example the genetic company in Bangalore that is Med gen. The highest package offered is 50000 and the average starts from 25000 placements in college. There is 75 percentage of students getting placements from our college. My plans after getting the degree is to go for further studies and do the masters after that i would like to do job along with my phd, this is my plan after getting my bachelors degree.

We have mandatory internship period after 2 years of teaching, and they provide internship and placement support. Different Companies come and take test and hire the eligible candidates. Regarding placement package, since it's just been 1 year of SST there cannot be said anything about it. But Scaler the parent Company of SST has average package of 22lakhs and highest package of 1.04cr.

Life at IISc- Pros and Cons

Placement Experience:

Most of the students after completing four years, continue to stay here to get Masters degree after one more year and pursue PhD from world renowned institutions. Very few people (<7/100) per batch will sit for campus placements and most of them will be selected with a good annual package of 30000 at an average. Some students, mostly Physocs majors can give government exams like ICRB, GATE to join ISRO and BARC as scientists

Why you should join SST

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because it was very curriculum heavy meaning the cirriculum was very good . the girls to boys ratio here is 1 : 8 . but this year only 200 peopel were selected out of 200. they are industry tech experts. they are passable

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to go into it field. The faculty is good here nothing to improve about that and the student ratio is 5:3. Qualification is good and the teaching method like some lectures is good. Term exams will be after 6 months from starting of sem and it's not as difficult as pu or 10th exams we can easily pass them.
