Remarks

Something times the management tends to be slow & not very helpful so just be sure to be respectful to them & they will help you.

Entrance Preview

I did not take any entrance exam i am an NRI student so got direct admission but for Indian students the criteria is 50% above marks in 12th and have to go through a group discussion & then have a personal Interview.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is good and detailed & the faculties are are knowledgeable & are helpful. They give their best to the students and all of them are very qualified & most of them have PHD's.

Internships Opportunities

It was a good experience. I had my internship in Air France kuwait(i had personally got my internship). It helped me learn alot of new things about the industry. About the companies that had come where Air India sats, GMR hial. There was no stipend offered.

Placement Experience

Placements were good last year. It was 100% placement last year & has been like that for the past 4 years i think. The companies that had come were FedEx, Interglobe.

College Events

There is one main festival that is held in October every year called 'URJA'. Management committees are made for this, and students can participate in dances, quizzes, singing competitions, "Mr. & Miss urja" beauty contest, students with there own bands can perform then there is a DJ night etc.Its a 3 day festival.

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont have an idea about this.

Campus Life

About the gender ratio the number of boys is higher than the girls. There are alot of workshops held in the clg with guest faculties coming to the campus & helping the students. The campus is safe and secure & there is no problem of gender or religion intolerance etc every one respects each other and are helpful.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good clean & very open. Rooms are big & are on triple sharing basis with each student get his/her Almira & bed with mattress toilets & bathrooms are common for boys atleast. Don't have an abt the girls. Compaired to the college strength the hostel seats are few. Fess is high is think around 1, 10, 000-1, 35, 000 Rs. You can get pg's near by the college & also in the city proce starting form 4000 rs per month.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are helpful and are decent. Its just like give & take you give respect they give irmt to you to. They do tend to help the juniors.

As I am a bba student and I have 3 year of course duration so students starts doing internship from 2nd year and. Placements aree provided from 3 year. By college The highest page goes of 12 lpa in bba and average goes of 5lpa . Approx 80% students get placed .I am planning to do my masters afterwards. Major companies like Amazon and many more visits to our college

At Shivalik like we have been advised to find internships from each semester here on. So after internship the CV building and skill building training are provided. It is amazing to know that many reputed and well established names such as Windlas Biotech and RR Cable have started coming to our campus and hiring students as junior managers at a salary of 4 lakhs or so.

UPES CSE Program provide the best insights!

No safety nets for getting admission in UPES as university is strict in taking students. UPES Engineering Admission Test also known as UPESAT has to be cleared. UPES is top class!

I applied at GECET of Graphic Era and gave other entrances too. Apart from JEE, I cleared almost all and only one left was that. UPES has the best facilities!

UPES has best sports access!

Admission are through an entrance for engineering which is called UPESAT. The best thing is the paper can be given anytime as it's online and if students want they can directly come to the university and then give that exam.
