Remarks
I always wanted to be part of Delhi University. And I got opportunity to be Student of Delhi University when I secured a seat in Swami Shraddhananda College. The college is part of Delhi University and goodwill of Delhi University is good. This was the main reason for me to choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The teachers are really helpful and qualified. As a school student I always thought that the professors would be very rude and would only talk to the point. But what I found was totally opposite. Teachers are friendly in nature and soft spoken. But it depends on the student if student is nice towards them, they will be nice and vice-versa. Be nice to them and you'll just feel like you're in school.
Placement Experience
I can’t comment on the exact position of placement as I have been recently promoted to second year. But from what I have heard from my seniors is that the placements are pretty average. You can get placed if you are exceptionally good because there are few vacancies. So, only the best ones can get a good package.
College Events
Being a Delhi University college there would be a lot of cultural events and fests. Every society organizes it's own fests from time to time. Reaching college is time consuming as college has no near metro facility. However being far from the core of the city one may find a good cultural heritage. I would recommend you to join any of the society of your interest.
Campus Life
The main issue that I have from my college is “Infrastructure”. SSNC have two campuses, one is old and second is new. The new campus has really good infrastructure and a good Wi-Fi connection & speed but the problem is that it is only for science orientated courses. Unfortunately, the arts and commerce block is in the old building which is really bad.
