Remarks
To the budding engineers, I refer this college to you basically for the name it has gained so far. You will become a SRMian. Admission process were totally based on Anna University norms. To the people from other districts and places, this college is so close to the city start. Always you will have this place surrounded by people. You can easily make new friends and enjoy.
Course Curriculum Overview
Most of the faculty in my department were gold medalist and their teaching method was so good. They even prepare notes for students which was helpful during Semester. Their teaching methods made us indulge ourselves into studies and they were so friendly!
Placement Experience
Placement department conducted the placement training from the 6th semester itself and that training will be helpful for students to get placed in top MNC. Companies like Accenture, TCS, Wipro and other core companies were visited the college for recruitment and mostly 70 -80 % of students got placed in top companies.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is totally based on Anna university norms but in first year we need to pay some additional fees. They were many opportunity for us to get scholarship. Faculty will guide us to get scholarships and financial assistance from banks. Yeah even I got scholarship in my colleges days.
Campus Life
I thoroughly enjoyed my college life and you can get exposure here! Valliammai college has great Infrastructure such that library is fully equipped and the journals in the library used for the final year project paper works and classrooms is sophisticated with projector . They conducted many events like college day, department symposiums and many activities which added points to the college.
Hostel Facilities
Yeah am hosteler and I have stayed there for the two years of my college life. But Even hostel cost is bit high, you can get spacious hostel room with study table and one cupboard with WiFi facility. Myself and my friends were made much memories in my hostel days which I will cherished forever. Coming to the food, they have north and south Indian menus and the food quality was good too. On my final year, I rented a room to get some exposure from outside of my campus.
