Remarks

Pros of being in an government medical college:- Good education Great teaching staff Affordable fees Lot of clinical experience Government medical colleges always have an attached civil hospital with daily patient turnover of 5000. Providing you a lot of scope to master your clinical skills The college has a huge library. With a/c and non a/c. Compartments. The library provides wifi 24/7 and a computer room that can be used for educational and entertainment purposes The hostel has a huge campus with different courts for volleyball basketball and table tennis. There is huge ground for cricket as well as football. Badminton indoor court is also available. Cons:- The mess food is not something you might like. The hostel rooms are not spacious and are untidy The city of Solapur is small as compared to other metropolitan cities The government medical college of Solapur is a place worth learning from. I place i still miss after completing my undergraduate studies!!!

You get to learn all the subjects of MBBS. Starting from anatomy to final year medicine The teaching staff are mostly recognized Drs with clinical experience in their field for nearly 25-30 years . The college conducts exam twice a year and there is a university exam at the end of every year of your 4.5 years of college

Placement Experience

Nearly 100% of the students get placements after completing MBBS from the college The average package of students is 6 lakh rupees per anum Students become eligible after completing 4.5 years of college and 1 year of internship

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure nearly 70000/per semester With special allowances for sc/st/ ews /nt and other reservation students. Minority castes also have certain exemptions in their fees and additional scholarship of Rs 25000 every year

Campus Life

The library consists of all the subjects in your curriculum Every year the top 100 students of the colleges recieve books on loan for a year Sport facilities available:- Cricket Football Basketball Badminton Table tennis An auditorium for yearly festivals. There is a dhondiba library run by the student of this college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course because I wanted to become doctors from most prestigious college of India. I didn't get seat in AIIMS Delhi so then I choose this college as it is near my home town. The students faculty ratio is 70:12. All the faculty are passed out doctors so they are highly qualified and they teach us in such a way that no need to ask for any doubts. The university conducts exams after every 3 months and we all have to work very hard to pass the exams.
