Remarks

Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is one of the reputed colleges of University of Delhi. Been from commerce background it suits me. And nearer to my house. I don't find any difficulty in the admissions process as the senior is there for your help. And specially collegedunia.com helped me a lot in choosing this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course Bcom Hons is one of the topmost course of this university. All faculty member is very good, friendly. All staff are highly qualified. I lobe to study by them And good thing is that the students are very much interested in attending the classes. All doubt is cleared regularly.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 21000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is very good. The college is having its placement cell who will inform us time to time regarding the upcoming placement of all criteria. And all big companies come to our campus and offers a good package. Minimum percent to qualify for placement is 60 with no backlogs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fee of BCom Hons is around 7000 per year and 500-600 is the exam fee per semester. So the fee is economical. And talking about the placement so the placement is very good all big companies come to our campus and offers a good package. So it is very satisfying.

Campus Life

The fest which is a festival of Delhi university student is held in the month of Jan-April. The library is big and having updated books. The campus is having a big ground plus a basketball court and sports room in which we can play indoor games like chess, carrom, table tennis, ludo, etc. There are many societies in the college of very type.

Shyam lal college not on my wishlist

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Underrated College- An honest opinion

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

All about SRCC life, exposure, placements, faculty and my experience

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Dyal Singh College: The Good, The Bad and The Confusing

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Honest review of SLC

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

My view regarding my college

Remarks:

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
