Remarks
Back in 2016 NIST was quite popular for its disciplinary actions whether it's studies or placements or anything. But year by year the performance of the faculties degraded also by my 4 th year barely 5- 6 companies came to campus. Which was absolutely disappointing for me. But on a good note, NIST actually provided ample opportunities for students like me who are from the state board to learn coding, English, communication skills, practical knowledge, and gaining confidence. I can say confidently that who I am today, it's all because of NIST.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was hectic but quite knowledge-based. And faculties used to focus on important topics more as well as the laboratory. All the faculties were quite qualified also. AND EXAMS WERE Very regular back then.
Placement Experience
From 6 th semester students become eligible for the campus. Two years back numerous companies used to visit campus but gradually the numbers reduced .but Infosys, Capgemini is regular mass recruiter for ages. If u do basic coding then also you can into these.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is quite high. But if you have secured a good rank in jee then you can actually study in a very reasonable amount. Which is Tution Fee Waiver. But right now as NIST became autonomous Nist raised its price.
Campus Life
The annual fest was Waves which used to be delightful. And the tech fest was Sankalp for which all the students used to wait year long. Also, NIST has a giant library that contains all sorts of books. And there are numerous groups, clubs present which focuses on different genres of art music dance technology robotics, etc.
