I don't have much information about this because I'm a new student here.

Management and Counsellor are best helpers for students. College have better commute and travelling exis. College have best infrastructure and lots of things to learn. There are many things which are going to like everyone like greenery, a large library , a functions hall, a canteen and basket ball court, a gym and many other places for playing other sports . Faculties are very helping in nature towards the students and the students can ask for help any time from faculties. But in bad aspects there is lot of burden of course syllabus and assignments etc. Admission Process: I got admission in B.tech in Mechanical Engineering in Leet programme so I got admission in 2nd year / 3rd Sem in course directly and due to my merit I have to pay less for tuition fee than other non meritious students. The college also have management quota seats for students in need. Reason for choosing over the others- The college branch is also in Janakpuri Delhi so it is very near to my home.

I choosed my course because of my Interest in the Mechanical Engineering . I also have done my diploma course in Mechanical Engineering from Pusa Institute Of Technology. The course have lots of career options in future like in government sector, private sector and public sector. And there is a lots of growth after joining in a reputed company. Faculty - There is a good ratio of faculties for students some faculties are very good in nature ( mostly) but some are less interactive to the students. Most of the Faculties have done masters or doctors in Respective subjects. And have good teaching experience in engineering subjects. Some faculties have a very good teaching method they draw the diagram on board in 2D or 3D drawing. Final Exams are in regular interval of 6 months but sessional exams are repetitive in nature. But sometimes it is difficult to pass but mostly if you have studied you can pass the exams easily.

From 6th Semester students become eligible for campus placements and there is also a criteria that is there should not be any backlog of students in any subject from any semester. Highest package last year was 5 lacs per annum for b. Tech students with a profile of designer in an MNC. And the lowest package was 1.8 lacs per annum . 60% students got placement from b.tech department from our college last year. I want to work as piping designer in a well reputed company.

There is a policy in college or university that is there is no hike in fee in any year. Fee is always same as the fee of fee in 1st year. And there is not as much as costly the course than other colleges . I'm in First year of college So i don't aware of scholarships as much but i can get meritious scholarship because of my exam.

Annual fest name is MERI ANNUAL FUNCTION AND FEST they mostly conducted in month of February. And Tech Fest is conducted in month of march .There is a sports week every year which is conducted in January or february month . Many social groups run by the students like MERU dramatic group and MERI chess group etc.
