Remarks
I couldn't get any Government College because the competition and cutoff was very high. Also the board % was also counted. It was the only Private College that was very near to my home, easy to reach with a nominal brand name.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is fine. The college keeps updating it according to the UGC guidelines. But academics isn't focussed upon. Teachers just teach to make students cram. There are rare teachers who actually make you understand and who are themselves competent. A few faculties have practical knowledge and right teaching methods. Academics tend to be just writing notes.
Internships Opportunities
Internship in RV Solutions, Noida. It had 0 stipend.
Placement Experience
Only pool campus drive allow us to sit in placements. Very rarely does a company comes for college placement. Major companies like Infosys have blacklisted the college. In case of startups, we aren't trained with enough competency in college or never given enough push or platform.
College Events
The events are totally student driven. A small technical fest happens every year, just for namesake and teachers plan to earn their commision in it. Otherwise, cultural programs have stopped being hosted. 2015 to 2017 were the only years college saw a huge planning and participation in cultural festivals and events.
Fees and Financial Aid
College provides scholarship for students above 80% but it is a hassle to avail it because the accounts department is not updated with the students who avail scholarship. Also, college just finds ways to cancel the scholarship.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is visually good. Centralised AC, Auditorium. Beautiful lawns and grounds. But generally, a student cannot roam around and enjoy the campus because lack of trees, shades and comfortable seating in open area. Also there is a fear of monkeys all around.
Hostel Facilities
No, I haven't opted for hostel. But the hostel food is better than other small colleges. The hostels are a kilometre far away. Girls hostel is located like in a small corner with no facility to reach there in case a girl is sick or there is strong heat wave. You need to walk there.
