My college review

Could have invited more companies for placement at our time.

Our curriculum was very much updated as per industry standards where industrial visits and training started from 2nd year itself. Equal attention were given to theory and practical classes. Many companies were invited from 3rd year which gave more opportunities to us till end of our course.

Placement of our college was average. Our college also provided the option of internship in relevent topics after our course was over.

Our college was quite famous for its events. Every year our college use to organize annual function of two days in which different compitions were organized and many colleges were invited to take part. Apart from that one celebrity use to be invited every year.

It was little expensive comparitively. Program fee consisted of academic charge, lab fee, miscellaneous etc. I use to pay through cheques as at that time online banking was not so active. Yes college provided transparent in the free breakdown. There were no hidden charges.

I opted for education loan. I have no idea if any scholarship was there or not as I never heard about it.

Gender ratio was quite good. Students from all over India was available there. Not only Indians even there were quite good numbers of international students also like UK, Keneya, Tanzaniya, Philippines etc. Never face racism as such even though I was north indian in south indian college.

Yes, I still love my hostel it was small new building of only 49 students. Very neat and clean. Every room was quite spacious and had good ventilation. Every room had double sharing. All furniture's were new and good condition.

Not exactly connected. Not much interaction with seniors as most of them left abroad and internet was not so easy at that time.

I have given karnataka state engineering exam called COMED K in 2006. After getting rank in written examination we went through councelling where I selected my college and course according to my rank. We had second councelling option also where we can change our college and branch selected in first round of councelling.

Faculties of our college were quite talented and had minimum of master degree. Few were ph.d or persuing ph.d. Average age of our faculty was 40 to 45. Most of the faculty were student friendly and helped in overall growth of students. Sometimes they asked us to work on case studies and hod of our branch also organized hands on training in relevant companies.
