The mess facility here is not up to the mark and hostel facilities are just fine.

The college life was just outstanding,the professors were very helpful. I Believe being one of the most oldest institutes in India the faculty was experienced. Every student enjoyed their life in this awesome college and no one ever worried about study anymore studies were going on smoothly with enjoyment.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provides very helpful internships and we always enjoyed being a part of those internships.

Placement Experience

The placements here are excellent and there are more and more companies visiting this college every year.

Well the events celebrated here are awesome,and every year they bring someone reputed to perform festivals and the students enjoy it very much.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible here and there are fee waivers here for sc/st students and the financially backward students too as this institution is funded by the government students don't have to worry about fees structure.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is very bad. This college has 30 boys to 1 girl and that is not a nice ratio.we hope this ratio gets better by the time. The extracurricular activities are just awesome it has the largest library of Asia.

Hostel Facilities

The mess food is not good at all but the hostel facilities are perfect and it's one of the best places to be on earth. Everyone is hoping for the mess facilities to become good in the coming time.

The senior students are most helpful, they had been very supportive and without them i could not imagine my life there.

Exam Structure

The exam structure here is similar to the iit pattern,and there is a lot of tough competition going on throughout the year.

Faculty

This college has one of the best faculty in India. The Professors here are very experienced and talented.They are very helpful and they teach students with joy.The computer science stream professors have taught us many difficult things with ease and grace.

from 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement there are lot of companies who used to visit our campus like microsoft gives 15 to 20 offer, amazon guves 13 to 15 offer , accenture gives a lot of offer like 30 offer and many more in recent year placement 64 lpa is highest and average of 12.5 lpa they use to offer forSDE role in last year 93.14percentage of total student get placed my plan is to get a full time job as software developer

INSIGHTS OF BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem onwards students are able to face placements. Comapnies such as ZS, Deloite AB in bev microsoft visa comes here and normally takes 1-3 students. The highest package may vary from 40-50 lakhs and average is 4-5 lakhs. Internships opportunities are quite low here. In chemical enginnering only till now out of 120 students 20-30 got placed including out of campus palcements. I am hoping to do mba after pursuing the degree as there is less comapny visit for core branches.

BIT : A Freshman's Perspective

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit for placements from the 7th semester.A variety of companies including TATA Steel, JSL, JPL, Samsung, TCS and ABG visit the campus.The highest package offered is to Mining branch by vedanta which is 16.5 lpa.In core branches like mechanical and electrical the placement percentage reaches to almost 80%.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of our college is quite active and provides internship opportunities and pre-placement offers for students in their third and fourth years. It invites reputed companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Accenture, IBM, Intel, Infosys, Cognizant, Deloitte, and many more. The average package is about 12LPA and highest package is about 52 LPA. Branches like CSE offer even higher, lucrative packges.

Placement Experience:

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

The real pride of dumka

Course Curriculum Overview:

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass
