Anonymous's Review On Satyawati College, New Delhi

Since this college comes under North Campus of University of Delhi so we get great academic environment. We too get so many oppurtunities to develop our personality by the means of different college societies from debating society to drama society. The Maths department of this college is not so huge (i.e. we dnt have hundreds of students) so we have very good realtion with profeesors and they help us in every aspect.

I guess in comparision to the syllabus of other universities of India, University of Delhi has very advance syllabus cause unlike other Universities It hac incorporated practicals in maths which include different computer languages, softwares which is used in data analyzing and data science. The College has also included skill enhancement course in their Syllabus.

So at the end of every year the E-Cell(placement cell) of our college organizes a placement fair where you cam find different companies with different field of work or background from a Life inssurance company to Hospitals. The students of my course get data analyst and data handling job. Further more studying is suggested for more aspects of jobs.

Our college hold very famous Inter University Cricket Tournament, InterUniversity Debating competitions. Intercollege dancing, fashion show and many more. Nukkad natak competition is one of my favourite

The toppers of 1st year of Bsc. Maths hons avails a one time scholarship of 8000. The marks of 1st is calculated by taking the average of both the semester (i.e. 1st and 2nd semester). You will be awarded with the certificate and the scholarship on the Annual Culture Program Day.

There is a completely different building for sports which includes a fully mechanised gym. Many national level and state level athelets gets admission in the college so you can find renowned coaches of different sports. All the campus is connected with the wifi it is must cause our mobile network gets blocked in some area of the campus. Library is filled with thousands of books related to all the course that college provides and also books of different genre. Library is fully furnished with AC and comfortable chairs. We have got Computer Labs and Environmental studies lab in our college with best equipments. The condition of college building is not so good If you see it from outside it doesn't look pleasing at all. It needs a renovation (just painting it will be great).

Our college don't have any hostels. But you can get PG's in reasonable price. For boys the cost of PG's ranges between 8000-15000 and same goes for the girls pg. The price varies on the type of sharing (single,double, tripple sharing) and other additional facilities.
