Only bad remark I would like to mention is the infrastructure. The college campus is pretty small. And students usually expect big campus.

As far as my course English literature is concerned it's the best department in the college and faculty are pretty cool and personally i gained a pretty growth in this field i have my own blog and reading become my favorite thing to do. Our college also conduct various workshops to discover your intrest and by one of these workshops i discovered iam very intrested in poems.

The college suggests you few internship. But they don't take a effort on it. And pretty good company like gold man sachs come here every year for placement interview. There is a special placement cell where final year students are prepared exclusively for placements.

There are departments associations for every department There is intracollege culturals called maithri Freshers day aramh Intercollege culturals like srishti The list goes on. To sum it up if u want to have best cultural life join here blindly. The department association is a great treat you will have the best time in your life.

The fee differs for evening batch and morning batch. Morning batch is aided so they charge less. The fee is divided into semesters and there is extra exam fee. The payment can be done through college bank and this bank is located inside the college which also provides great schemes. And there is always online mode payment. Morning college will charge around 4k to 5k evening is around 25k

College don't offer any scholarships but with great score you can get seat im aidded course where the fee is very less.

As the name suggests this is a girls college though it seems not so fun we have best time in the college. The culturals and festivals are conducted in highly deceplined manner when other colleges participate. And it's totally ragging free zone. If by chance something goes wrong the college takes full charge on it. Basically it's very safe environment.

No i never opted for hostel since i live in chennai but as far as i heard there is very less rooms so limited students can apply for hostel and food is pretty okay. The best thing about hostel is hostel night which happens every year.

There is yearly alumni meet called ethibhandhan. And seniors are always a great torch to us they are super helpful in everthing.

I always wanted to do English literature and as far as chennai is concerned there are 5 great arts and science college and ethiraj is one among them. You'll have to apply prior to our 12th result, through online and after the results you are supposed to update your mark that's if pretty simple process. They will declare the short list according to your marks once you are selected you have to submit your documents in the college on the particular day. No interviews are conducted it's purely through merit.

All the faculty are phd qualified and in my department English literature most of them are writers themselves. And their experience in this field are uncountable. And the treat you with high respect and comparing to other college ours is very linnet. Our college has its boast of commited faculty members.
