Remarks

Overall the campus life is very good. College will support you in all the ways possible. Especially if you are in hostel you will enjoy the college life more.

Entrance Preview

I took PGCET, Which is eligible for government seat and fee is way less than the management seat. As the college is number 1 in PGCET Quota i chose this college, cutoff for this college is very high under GM Quota its as high as 120. So it was an obvious option.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Its very much related to the industry standards, courses are related to current industry practices and even lab facility's are very good. We are supposed to do internship as well as a research project which is very much focused on researches. Course structure offers flexiblity for students to pursue the courses at their will.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, but very less companies comes for internship. On an average the companies which comes for internship offer stipend in the range of 5 thousand to 15 thousand rupees.

Placement Experience

4

Placement opportunities are very great, a lot of companies comes to college for recruitment. Almost the placement figures is close to 90%. Marketing students will have more opportunities as compared with HR or Finance guys. But the job profile for marketing students will be sales for most of the companies.

College Events

4

From technical to management there were many fests conducted. An all india conference was held in the year 2015 in which many research scholar's across the country and overseas came to present their papers. It was a 3 day program. We had even organized a management fest, which had a bigg boss concept and participants from all over karnataka came to represent their colleges, which was held for 7 days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This is the main part. If you take your seat from PGCET its very much feasible. But if you take your seat from management quota its very much expensive, the fees for management quota is 3,80,000 per year. Whereas if you take your seat from PGCET it will be hardly around 70,00.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, for meritorious students college will provide CNR Rao scholarship award. In which college will reimburse 25% of the college fees paid by the students. Its applicable for both PGCET and Management students.

Campus Life

4

Overall campus life is very good. Grnder ratio is large as the majority is boys. Maximum students are from karnataka itself. And hardly few students are from other states, lab facilities are good. But there is limited scope if you want yo participate in any sports activites.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facility is very good. Boys hostel is in the campus only whereas the ladies hostel is iut of campus but not far from college. Boys hostel is very good. Fees will be from 95000 ti 125000 per year based on the type and sharing basis. Even we have different variety of mess options. Overall the food is good.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, many times alumni students will refer if there are any job openings in their companies. Even college will conduct programs for alumni's which will be a networking session for the present students.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is standard. We will have two internals for 50 marks each which will later be considered as a part of final exams. Finals will be for 100 marks which will be reduced proportionately. The overall marks at the end will be for 100. And the grades will be allotted on relative grading basis.

Faculty

4.5

Faculties are having atleast 4 years of industry experience, we have a very great faculties. They are a blend of experience and skills, they focus on curriculum as well as research. Case studies are given importance as well, labs will help to understand the theory subjects well.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time.
