Review of my college

Comparing with others colleges in Chennai, my college is one of the hassle free college for students.There are no unnecessary rules on dressing and grooming. College can definitely enjoy their college life in this college.

My college is affiliated by Anna university. So all the exam rules and syllabus of my college is given by Anna university. Current 2017 regulation syllabus is based on the current industrial needs. Example I in my 1sy year studied python programming as opposed to C programming studied by my seniors of previous regulation. Most of the subjects in this 2017 regulation are updated to meet current industrial standards.

The placements of my college is the best. Every year top companies around the world hire us students in my college. Companies like Amazon, Cisco, TCS, CTS, Wipro,Virtusa , Hexaware and so on. The training given by the college for placement is good and they try their best to make students get a job in placements.

There are many events happen in my college. Every year symposiums happen in all the departments in my college. Many students from other colleges also participate in them. There is also a separate event for Freshers every year to encourage the. There is also culturals event every year.

The fees of my college is fair. The fees is decided by the Anna university. Like other colleges there is NO compulsion for students to come by college bus, so the college can collect separate fees for that. The college gives clear receipt for every amount paid by the student.

No. I'm not availing any education loan or scholarship in my college. My parents pay the fees every year.

The gender ratio is about 60:40. The college provides good support for students interested in sports. There are many sport clubs in my college. They give students opportunity to participate in district, state and national level events. The labs in my college are all recognised by Anna university, the meaning of this is the labs are the best in class.

No. I'm not availing hostel facility in my college because my home is close to the college. But some of my classmates avail hostel facility. According to them the rooms are good and the food is also good.

There is an alumni group in my college. Every year successful alumnis visit us and encourage us. They also give their advices.

I joined my college through TNEA. TNEA is the Tamilnadu's way of appointing students to engineering colleges based on their marks on +2. The physics, chemistry and mathematics marks of the +2 exam is converted into a cut-off of 200 marks. Based on this cut-off marks, the student can choose their college.

Facilities in my college are ,I would say some of the best I saw in my life. The average age of the faculties are about 35. Most of them are PhD holders and with more experience. The teaching methods are good and they have specific specialization in a specific industrial subject.
