Overall college is good and no bad remarks for FAMT according to me.
Course Curriculum Overview
Teachers and environment of college is good. FAMT has total 6 department ELECTRICAL, ELECTRONICS, ELECTRONICS AND TELECOMMUNICATION, MECHANICAL, CHEMICAL, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY, MCA. FAMT provide practical and theoretically knowledge to students with board and projector. For industrial knowledge FAMT provides one visit to industry in one sem. Teachers behavior also good and friendly.
Placement Experience
Training and Placement Cell actively interfaces with the reputed organizations for arranging interviews and campus drives. The cell endeavours to sort out specialized courses, workshops and corporate training sessions. Industry expert are invited intermittently to improve the knowledge of our understudy with the most recent technological developments and industry hones. We foster graduates who are well prepared to deal with the working standards of the industry in public and private sectors and help each understudy to characterize his/her career interest through expert’s advice.
College Events
Utopia, Brainwaves, Fresher's party, ELEKTRA, RASAYANTRIKI, AUTO EXPO, SHIVAJI MAHARAJ JAYANTI, TRADITIONAL DAY. The UTOPIA is the 3 days function which includes dance drama and singing and so on. Brainwaves is national level competition organized by FAMT and other college students participate in brainwaves
Fee Structure And Facilities
For open cast students fees for one year is 75000.it is less than many college fees.nowdays many college takes 100000 fees per year but FAMT. Gives all knowledge facility in 75000 For OBC cast FAMT takes 40000-50000 rupees per year And for other cast students fee is 7000-8000
Fees and Financial Aid
I applied for freeship. I get only exam fee from government for freeship we require to fill form on mahadbt. I didn't take any education loan.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. There are so many trees and lawn. There are so many mango coconut trees in campus. Kho kho ground is in middle of campus. Roads are provided in campus. Total 5 buildings are present in campus: admin block, Electrical block, IT block, workshop and canteen.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel is nearly 7 km far from college but college provide private bus for students and total fees for hostel is 22000 per year and for mess FAMT takes 2200-2500 per month. In 2500 hostel mess provide morning breakfast, afternoon lunch, evening breakfast, dinner
Alumni/Alumna
Senior are also behave friendly. FAMT is ragging free college and for every class n every batch has one teacher as mentor for sharing problem.
Admission
I wanted to become an electrical engineer and FAMT is best college in kokan region which is located at Ratnagiri so decided to join FAMT college. I got 70.91 marks in Diploma and after completing diploma. In 2018 i completed my diploma and register for direct second year engineering admission form and in first list i got FAMT college.so i took admission in FAMT on 16 aug 2018
Faculty
There is group on WhatsApp where all teachers and students are added. We can access there Mobile number from WhatsApp.nearly 16-17 faculty are works in our department .they all are having degree of masters.and all teachers are clever and some teachers are University ranker
