According to my marks scored in jee mains this college is better and yes having curios about new technology from my childhood thats why i choose this college and this course is very relevent to me.This course have very wide oppourtinities.

Course Curriculum Overview

our course structure is industrial based.Faculties are very good.Qualified faculties such as Dr. Vikram Kumar our Compiter Network teacher very good in his field.Such a innovative faculty helps in projects.

Too much companies visited this year just like HCL, AMAZON, MICROSOFT and some of our alumuni are working here they help their juniors to guide in which they have some basic knowledge about the company.

College Events

LALKAR held this year sports fest.Not too much in these events are done.Technical fest like techkriti was held but not too good this is part where IIIT una should to perform better all the curriculum activities are good but like fest there should be improving in this field

Fees and Financial Aid

you can avail loan(education loan) yes if your state government provide some scholarship you can get schloarship but the fees are too high government provide upto 4lakhs loan and after that you have to pay your own.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is very good.Wifi is very good high speed internet.such a big library even in exam time there is a huge amount of students who prefer library for study.Labs are highly advanced.Practicals are very innovative under lab assistant who helps alot.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel are good single,double,triple and six seaters are available .Hostel fees is 1500 per semester Rooms in hostel are big. you have given a personal almirah and almirah is good.Environment around the hostels are too good students(roommates) are really helpful

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
