Worthy college for talented people

Overall the college management is good. It should give more importance on practical knowledge exposure.

JEE mains exam- approx. 180 and 92%. I choosed this college over DTU and IIIT-D because because its environment is best suited for students. It is not congested and this institute intake is approx. 900 every year, and it does not take much people as DTU does. NSIT has only 7 courses. It is the best institute for placement minded people because of less branches. I have ECE and I love it from my school onwards, that's why I took it. In Delhi after IIT its the best.

Its course has been updated in 2016. Its the good news for 2017 Admission takers. If you have interest you van directly approach your professor for your research. Many people here have their own research papers published. The course has been updated with focus on CBCS. people can take any subject from 3rd year onwards.

Yes. It provide internships. As of my knowledge the stipend is approx.5000 and it varies company to company.The interview for interns start at the beginning of 3rd year. many good companies such as amazon, flipkart, maruti, etc. Visit campus

Previous year 650 were placed and 180 companies visited campus. Some were places with good packages of 25 lacs in amazon, 95 lacs, 1.25 crores, etc. Companies visit campus round the year. There is placement for every student and when you are in NSIT, you need not to worry about placements. Everybody will get something out from college.

Moksha- biggest fest, cultural fest. Last year many famous vocalist visited campus on moksha. Rosonanz and innovision- technical fest. There are lot of societies which organize their own events. Moksha is celebrated on January - February month. It will give you pleasure and real feeling of college life.

Its quite expensive for middle class people but it can be adjusted. For 1st year it 1.25 lacs and every year its keep on increasing by 10%. Apart from these people get various scholarships based on their their studies. Many people get scholarships. And this 1.25 lacs college fees are worthy for the college. After 4 years you would learn very much from college.

There is loan availability in NSIT. My friends have taken SBI loans. Its a good rated institute so SBI gives scholar loan to students. According to which students can take a maximum loan of 8 lacs approx. There is scholarship provided for top 10% students in every branch.

Gender ratio- 60:40. People from across the country come to study here. Mostly are from Delhi, haryana, and UP. Labs are improving year after year. sports environment is good in NSIT. We have specialized sports coaches for many sports. People from every economic strata come here to study. There is no discrimination.

For 1st year we have Ramanujan hostel. The security is very good. Accommodation is good. We have single rooms and double seated rooms. The mess is good as you expect. For first sem it is ₹55000. ₹20000 is refundable. From 2nd sem it is ₹35000. Hostel seats are very much. Even students who reside nearby can also take hostel seat. There is not at all problem. The college campus is of 145 acres.

The seniors are very much helpful. If you keep in contact with them they help in understanding topics in your curriculum. They are good friends. 0% ragging.

The exam structure is not burden on the students. There is plenty of time to do other work for the students. every semester we have mid semester exams and end semester exams. There is plenty of time for extra curricular activities. There are lot of societies.

The faculty are all well qualified. Many of them are PhD's from elite institutions. But if you want to work with them on any project, you should have knowledge and dedication. At first you may find difficult to go in pace with them. But within few weeks you find it better.
