Remarks

Because my college is ranked first in our kollam district in kerala and 100th in India.The college has been ranked by nirf.The college is awarded with A grade by National Assesment and Accreditation Council.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college provides almost all the Undergraduate degree programs.The syllabus and the curriculum which the college follows is as prescribed by the university of Kerala.All the facilities in the college are student friendly and they are very expertised in the teaching field.

College Events

The college authorities will host several programs for the students in an academic year.mainly our regional festival onam is celebrated very gandly.The college authorities will also allow the students to host events and programs department wise.

Campus Life

The college contains infrastructure facilities like free wi-fi for all the students for their research,college contains library,gym,football ground,basketball court,labs like chemistry lab,physics lab,biology lab,computer lab,marine biology lab etc.

Towards the fourth year, students become eligible for campus placement. There are no companies visited . The average package is above 10000for per month. Almost 45% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to work as a staff nurse.

MY COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

The main reason why i selected this college is because it is near my house so i dont want to travel more . Other reason is that it is an autonomous college. So the results will come in correct time than the university colleges. Also the management is so strict abut the studys and they provide high quality education for students who studys there. I got admission in mar ivanios college trivandrum ,its also an autonomous college but becaus it was on anathor district i didnt went there. Honestly i was not prepared for the long distance life at that time or else i will go there for sure,because its one of the major an popular college in kerala, many celebraties are alumini there. I first got admission in NSS kollege kottiyam on the basis of my mark, but it was a small college so i didnt go there Then i got admission in Fatima mata national college .
