Remarks

I chose Shoolini university because of its good placements and the beautiful environment. It is situated in lap of nature as we all are aware how beautiful himachal Pradesh is. The beautiful scenic view around the campus and the good placements in management department drove me there. From bihar to himachal just because of good placements and an outstanding scenic view over there. The thing I like about my university is that it feels like home. The people are very nice over there and daily I get to learn new things from my faculty and my friends. I like the Yogananda library the most in the campus and I spend most of my time there only to just relax and sometimes for studying. It's a beautiful library one can only imagine in his/her dream or sees in movies. I opted for MBA course in Shoolini university because I wanted to build my career in management field where I get the real corporate world feel after passing out from the course. I am a commerce student from class 9th only so my interest was always in this field only so it made me chose this course where I'm acquiring new skills daily and facing real life challenges that we will have to overcome in the corporate world just after passing out from the university and getting a job.

Course Curriculum Overview

My course syllabus is up to date and the faculty is knowledgable and make us learn new things which come across daily. Yes, I was provided enough industrial exposure as I did my internship in Times of India this summer and got to know the industry well. Guest faculties also visit our university to share important things about the industry they are related to. Dr. Kuldeep Rojhe, director of our MBA program is an amazing person who is well versed in marketing and sales and is our profeesor as well.

Internships Opportunities

I am working as an intern currently in Times of India. Duration is for 45 days and the stipend is 10,000. For internships also person from the company visits the campus and interviews us and then selects students capable for working in their company.

Placement Experience

5

Very good companies visit our university like HILTI, HUL, ICICI, GENPACT, HDFC, AXIS, BYJU'S etc. Placement process includes interviews taken by the person from the company who visit the campus. Sometimes it is virtual as well. The alumni networking is really good and the placement department works really fine.

College Events

5

Campus life is awesome as we have so many cultural programmes going on in the campus and management festivals as well like interdepartment competition within the university. I usually participate in almost every event and I enjoy those events and extracurricular activities.

Campus Life

Everything is perfect in my university. Almost every facility for sports is there like for badminton, volleyball, basketball, cricket etc. Wifi is really amazing and the speed is awesome almost everywhere be it hostel or campus. Library is awesome and it's really big. Labs are well equipped with important machines.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels room are really nice and well equipped with necessary items for students. It has 2, 3 and 4 seater rooms. There are enough hostel rooms which are easily available for students. I pay 42000 for 6 months for 2 seater room.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked horticulture .This course is very well applied in real world in cultivation and growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers and horticulture also has job opportunities in private sector. There are some improvements like more practical learning, real world exposure etc. that could be made to make this course more effecgive in real world application. The exams are conducted per semester and the difficulty level of exams is average.
