1)I had applied for all government medical Colleges in Maharashtra and in 1st round I got SRTR GMC,Beed but in 3 rd round of counselling I got this college,I liked this college and my parents also on same page so I confirm it.at first glance I liked weather and college campus. 2)I didn't get admission in top medical Colleges of Maharashtra as selection process was based on merit and I didn't got selected 3) admission is done according to merit, admission process is little lengthy but can be done in 1 day, selection is done according to NEET exam marks which is given by PCB group students after 12th. Cutoff for government college is higher than other private colleges which can be more than 580 marks in neet for open category. Admission process can be hectic if there are many students at a time but they give 6-7 days for admission thus there will be no problem for arranging all required documents....Read More

I applied to almost all the government medical colleges of Maharashtra, how ever I opted for a retention in this collage. Reason being I loved kolhapur as a city. 2) GMC Miraj is the only collage which is usually get compared with GMC KOLHAPUR. 3) talking about the academics both the collage have more-or-less same level of academics however GMC KOLHAPUR offers better hostel facilities. 4) GMC Miraj has upper hand when we consider the fact that the associated hospital and collage iare both connected and situated in the same place. 5) talking about patients inflow, in both GMC KOLHAPUR and GMC Miraj is similar....Read More

Eye specifically denied all the city colleges for this college due to its nature based campus. Reason of chosing Kolhapur even though it was in periphery and not choosing other peripheral college was it's proximity to it is like Pune I never got an rejection from other colleges as it was a first on retention.
