GOPINATH K K's Review On Sourashtra College, Madurai

I don't like to say anything bad about my college. The good one is very less fees i felt ever.

Interested in computer programming and i don't want to go for engineering side, hence i had chosen bachelor of science in computer science.

In my college it was 5 hours period and 1 hour break timing. Course coaching was awesome and professors were teaching excellent and still there were Tamil subject for the first 2 semesters. I was like that so much. And in programming course and lab exams are really new experience for me.

There were no internship when i was studying and i don't know about the internship in Sourashtra college.

Placement is average and who studied and came out from the Sourashtra college they need to try for their job outside only 40 percent of people got the job on 2012. But the college l will teach then how to find a good and great job what do we need to follow for that and the college will advise to students that to learn extra courses outside for the easiest way to get a good job.

My first cultural was welcome party. On that i was participated in a level that i have to find out a movie name the other side person only do action. And second one was singing competition and it was many more. The college was celebrating anniversary in that madurai IAS was the guest it was glad to see him on that moment.

Compare to all college Sourashtra college is having very less fees structure. If i say one you guys don't believe that i compete my bachelor's of science in computer science with in five thousand rupees. Very less fees all over my city and still its going on but little bit high compare to 2012 fees.

I didn't get any scholarships. But there was one scholarship from government they refund the fees amount from the actual fees amount.

I had NSS and went for camp 7 days in a village. That was my first experience leaning my parents and living for 7 days to talk about sports there were no PT period i had, since they ll allow to play games like cricket in the ground, we friends used to cut the period and play cricket.

The college doesn't have hostel facilities but mess food would be good. They are giving free lunch who is very poor with getting high grades, it was like helping nature from professor. I had got till my second semester that free lunch scheme. And there were no other facilities.

Senior students were the example for us they behaved that much nice they taught us how to be in college, how to talk with professor and they explained about the college with in 2 days.

It is a university exam type. Exam structure is all from government side and timing used to give us three hours per subject exams and save as well as lab exams. Lab will be fully filled by air conditioner and we used to afraid for getting outputs from the program.

I had got the admission form on 2012. I bought 2 forms one is for maths and another one is for computer science fortunately my marks is enough to join in computer science. After i filled the form my professor told that please study nice and well. I was smiling at that moment.

I would give five out of four. Since, In my college it was 5 hours period and 1 hour break timing.
