Remarks

Dayalbagh Educational Institute is a highly reputed university (deemed to be) situated in the city of Taj. I selected this college as it provides one the best quality education in India. I really appreciate their moto i.e. to evolve a complete man (a superman) out of a student. It doesn't have a very fancy or high fees. I also have religious connections with this esteemed university. It is not very far away from my home town. Also, my parents were comfortable in sending me here to study as we have a lot of family friends here.

Course Curriculum Overview

We had a great amount of industrial exposure, in almost every semester. The syllabus has been quite updated. The entire Faculty of Engineering is extremely hard working and committed towards quality teaching. Prof R. C. Gupta and Prof. G. M. Das sir are one the best teachers there.

Development Alternatives, 5months duration stipend= 5000 Online procedure or through recommendation

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are good for the students who are academically good. The number of companies visiting are not that many.

College Events

The campus holds quite a number of festivals and more than that the students go to other colleges to compete in sich fests. A few events that are organised are. TedxDEI Youthfest Sampravah etc.

Campus Life

There are a variety of sports offered in the campus such as Volleyball, football, badminton, kho-kho, hockey and many more. The campus has high speed wifi facility for students. The library is very well equipped with latest technologies for finding the book that the student requires. Also, faculty of engineering and architecture have their own huge libraries.

After 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are comes likes Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cagegimini etc and they offer decent package. Highest package 3000000 and average package 400000 and profile offered as for company required. 80 percentage student get placement. Take a placement in good MNC company.

Actually I didn't research on the placement. But in college campus I saw many boards of placed students and the average package is around 4-4.5lakh per annum.and college data says about 90%of students are placed. I am preparing for both off-campus and on campus placement.

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.

The college is in my hometown so close to family and friends. No moving out having the comfort of living with family. Apart from this good syllabus structure. I was getting to learn so much more here than in other colleges. The reason i came back from college in Shimla, it was purely due to homesickness. The admission process is you can fill online and offline forms where you need to may something between 500- 1000 per form.
