CBSE, 91% quiet, serene, diverse and provides an holistic approach for development and good placement college location is very appropriate, far enough to numb distractions and close proximity to Chennai, pondicherry and other places to have fun.

The curriculum is diverse, incorporating the technical aspects of of the civil engineering with number of subjects which are very much needed in the modern corporate world to have thriving career like management, communication skills, business-technology bridging, social skills and interpersonal skills. The college provided a number of co-cirricular activities and emphasized that students get involved in these activities to develope their personalities. Students were also provided with opportunity to immerse them in social welfare.

The college thus provide internship opportunities to candidates but there is no provision of stipend for undergraduates. Stipend are only provided to the post graduate interns who have went under the microscope of the respective departmental committee and plan to intern for at least 6 months duration.

The job placement opportunities are immense. From the start of the college, the institution's career development department prepares you for the placement exam which will be held in the final year. Honing your skills to the standards demanded by the companies coming for recruitment. The department prepares you for interview in both technical non-technical aspects. Everything from resume preparation, dressing sense and etiquette are taught and refined by the department. I have personally benefited from the this rigorous process as result of which I was placed in my dream company L&T after going through their selection process if aptitude test, technical interview.

College frequent organized a number of cultural and technical fests, which provided us with a number of opportunities to put our engineering and non technical skills to test. It also provided us with a platform to test and showcase our abilities on national level with other students coming from various other colleges from through out the the nation and thus allowing us mix up with ohm the cultures and to be more open.

The fee structure is bit expensive but depends mostly on your performance in the competitive exams and tum boards exam. Your rank in the exams decides your fee. There is provision for financial aid and scholarships to help students with certain category unable to afford college due to their financial conditions.

A number of good financial aid are available depending on need to need basis, to academic excellence to your performances in various fields like sports make you eligible for a number of scholarships offered by the college having tie ups with a number of banks the college makes it easy to avail education loan at low interest.

The boys to girls ratio is fairly balanced with a large number of girls coming from the north eastern state the student life is very happening with a number of student clubs from literary to social welfare clubs that keep the students busy the students not allowed to indulge in any political activities which are not allowed to related to the university like the student council etc.

The hostel mess food was avg in taste but I had very high standards of sanitation and nutrition the mess was divided into two sections south Indian and North Indian. Each day had a fixed menu with Wednesday and Sunday being specials the hostel facilities were as avg.,with basic WiFi available with certain restrictions which was required to overcome for survival in college, the hostel staff was neutral and the sanitation was well maintained.

Alumni network is good it helps you in getting touch with other alumni the Alumni are great source of experience for freshers for advise on how to tackle the corporate world and how behave in it.

Yes, the exams frequency is very high for theoretical subjects while the for the labs is just once a semester for internals. But sufficient time was given in between exams for us to enjoy our college life, going out for celebrations and night outs.

10+2 merit category for scoring 95% and above in physics, chemistry and maths. Applied online and was selected for this category. The application was scrutinized and selected, then was awarded a scholarship for 100k/year over the tuition fee. Went for the enrollment process in the month of July, paid the tuition fee, book fee and the hostel fee for which I had opted.

The college faculty were highly qualified with most of them having previously worked in private industry and opting for academia as career later. A number of faculties were involved in the research work and many senior faculties had substantial contributed in the their field of expertise. The senior faculty were always enthusiastic when it came to teaching class and always attempting to come out with new ways to generate interest of students in their particular subject by relating to real life examples and show of live demonstration.
