It is a very bad option for doing BCA from patna science college don't try to get there because if do, you will regret after.
Entrance Preview
I didn't attend any entrance examination except for the Patna Science College entrance examination. I secured 85 out of 100. I had interest in computer. My elders advised me to go for BCA. So, I chose BCA.
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus is not very beneficial. Syllabus is outdated. It was designed in 2002. Since then, there has been no updates in the syllabus. Also, it doesn't has any interesting and motivating assignments and projects. College doesn't organises any workshops.
Internships Opportunities
The college doesn't provide any kind of internship. It only focuses on the theoretical knowledge that it provides.
Placement Experience
It lacks placement and job opportunities there is no placement cell in the college. Also, because of low quality of curriculum, chances for placement in a good company is very less. If someone is very talented then he can get job in companies like Wipro, TCS, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is good course fee is not high it will take only about Rs. 25000 per year and about Rs. 65000 for the whole course.
Fees and Financial Aid
There isn't any kind of scholarship or loan facility available at the college in my knowledge.
Hostel Facilities
I don't live in the college hostel so I can't tell about that hostel is not allotted to the students of BCA hostel gets full of B. Sc students.
Exam Structure
There is only one exam held between February to March by the University. There are also three assessments one is held after few weeks of beginning of session second is the setup test which is taken a month before the final exam. Third is the internal test. It's marks are added in the total of final.
Admission
After a week of the commencement of result of class 12th registration form was available at the administrative block of college. After two weeks, entrance exam was held. After a week, it's result was declared. Candidates who have got marks higher than the cut off mark were appointed for the interview. Candidates who passed the interview got admission in the college.
Faculty
Faculties aren't good they don't give extra knowledge about the topic. Even they don't have better knowledge of their respective subjects too. They use notes to teach us. Rather on focusing on teaching, they focus on preparing notes. They don't give practical knowledge they only know the points that is written in their notes and they teach that only.
