Remarks

It was a concious decision to enroll in this college after deciding whether I wanted to go to low ranked DU college or just go to the IP university. I know some people who are alumnus of JIMS and got a good review about the college along with the fact that it has a good reputation, a good crowd and a good ranking amongst IPU colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

I believe it can even improve further. Academically there are plenty of learning opportunities. Faculties have good command over their areas and most of them are quite friendly and approachable.

Course Fees: INR 103000 per year

Placement Experience

Don't have the details about it but quite a few companies take students straight from the college at a moderate salary package.

College Events

There are different cultural festivals that are held throughout the year like the Jims festival and the IPU festival Anugoonj. The jims one is a collaborative effort of all the different branches of jims and hence is quite big. There are also various industrial visits.

Campus Life

The college itself does not have a ground or an outdoor sport facility but collaborates with nearby sports centers to still get people into them. Wi-fi is good when it's there but it's not always there. Library is small to say the least though the labs are really nice.

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

Maims college detailed review

Placement Experience:

The placement in my college for my course BBA pretty good. The college is also Offers internship opportunities. We can expect an average package of around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum for BBA. The students become eligible for campus placements from fourth semester onward. Some of the companies that have visited our colleges include KPMG Deloitte. The education tree, the highest package that someone got from our college was of around 60 lakhs and the profile offered to him was in finance. Placement Deptt of College is very good and students got eligible after 5th Semester for Placement. During Placement Drive, all the top level companies visited to College Campus, even I got 4 Offers from different companies, whereas i Joined ICICI Bank due to flexible working hours and salary pakcage was good also.

Placement Experience:

Well the placement of this campus are not as good as the other colleges well most of the student opt of further education while the one who don't go for post graduation would get an estimate of 300000 per annum well my plans after graduation is to do post graduation which is MBA.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell in my college. There are students who call companies to come for the placements. I there are teachers too in the placement cell. But the placement record is not good. In previous years the highest placement hit was 22 lakh in my course . But the ratio of students getting placements is very few.

mostly 3rd year students sits for placements , offers are given yet they are low from market and not vast in numbers too , i dont remember any major company that joined the placement drive its mostly local startups and companies and they dont support us doing interships so its really hard in bms to get placements as it just not possible

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

I hdd 90.89 percentile in my CAT 2024 and 93.18 percentile in XAT 2025. These are very good scores and make a candidate like me eligible for top B-schools. Truth about jims kalkaji

The eligibility of the course is to have 50% minimum marks in your undergraduate. The application form, fees, and any other information regarding admission are available on thier admission portal.
