But indeed, the most attractive reason to join Mechanical Engineering, as I think, is that you actually like designing and developing mechanical systems like Robots, Automobile parts, infrastructural parts and much more. Mechanical Engineering has extensions to other popular branches like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc. as well.
Course Curriculum Overview
it's an autonomous college, so the syllabus or the curriculum is frequently updated and is at par with some of the best colleges in the country. Yes.the industrial exposure we get is really the best. We not only know what all goes in the industry but we are akso groomed to be the best asset any industry can have. the faculty is very friendly and kind. We also have faculties who have compleated their studies from ivy league schools.

placements are really really awesome.many mncs and tech giants often come here to offer the students jobs and internships. yes, there are a few startups by our college students and they are very successful, for example forte hack and timberbells etc.or can even create your own startup.
College Events
our cultural fest gandhaar is one of the most popular cultural fests in the city. The technical fest i.e innovation brings out the innovative mind in us doing justice to its name. college and its campus also host a few other fests to celebrate various festivals and good eves. the most popular is cummins ki dahi handi, its the most awaited fest of the year and we celebrate it with a pomp. dj night, comedy shows, music concerts just lift up our spirits and refreshens our mind. cummins is an all girls college. but trust me its way way way better than any co ed college in the country.
Hostel Facilities
yes. i live in hostel. there are 3 hostels : yashlakshmi, divekar and baya karve hostel complex. baya karve is the best among all three, they also have their hostel cultural night, hostel sports week, diwali fest, kojagiri fest, and much more. and the food in the mess is good. mess charges are included in the hostel fees.
