Remarks
Delhi University is a famous college which provides the best curriculum of Economics honours. The faculty of my college is well-experienced. Overall management is also good. They also provide with good Internship opportunities. Most important, DI is affordable. It charges a minimal amount for the courses.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course syllabus is totally updated but we weren't provided with much industrial exposure. Economics faculty at my college is amazing. Other than this it is one of the renowned colleges for Journalism honours too. They focus too much on Academics. We have proper classes every day. They do conduct mid-sem exams. Other than this several test and assignments are also taken to improve the understanding of each student.
Placement Experience
The Placement is improving but currently, we don't get good opportunities. The college organised and Internship fair in March. It had 40+ companies on board. The internships provided are mostly unpaid.
College Events
It's an all-girls college. Campus life is decent. You'll see many renowned bakeries and famous Maggi points around the college. The technical department is well-equipped. The cultural department is active too. Many departmental fests also happen that attracts a decent number of the crowd. Recently, the Economics fest of the college was organised on a large scale. It had a footfall of 300+ students. Economics Society of the college is also among the top 10 economics society of DU.
Campus Life
We have proper sports facilities, wi-fi, library and well-equipped labs. We only don't have a proper auditorium but it is getting renovated too. Other than this my college is constructing a hostel for north-east students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel of the college is under construction but there are several pgs available nearby. The average rental is 10000 rupees. It's a posh area. You'll find everything nearby. There's a whole market where everything is practically available.
