Remarks

The college is well managed faculties are given the responsibilities of different departments like accounts, academic, discipline etc all in all this is a good college to study in.

Entrance Preview

I took the JEE Mains Exam and scored 63 and based that score I applied for different colleges in my state. I love programming. I self taught programming, i know 5 languages but Java is my favorite and I always look forward to learn new languages. I wanted to certify my skills so I chose computer Science.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

We have a great curriculum. We have subjects on latest advancement of technology like Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Computational Theory, etc. These kind of subjects make us aware of the latest advancement in Technology. And these subjects also prepare us to get the better hand against other candidates.

Internships Opportunities

Yes our college provides Internship in the 8th sem, but our batch is the first one to get that in our curriculum so I don't have Idea about stipend. I expect it to be a good enough amount. I can tell about the experience after I experienced it.

Placement Experience

3

The placement is not that good as the college is new and is located in a very remote location so very less companies are interested in visiting this college. Recently a startup named Suncore Microsystems visited they offered a package of 3 Lakhs per annum INR.

College Events

3.5

All national festivals including Republic Day, Independence Day are celebrated on a small scale. We have Tech Fests every year named "Insprano" which is Inspire and Innovation combined. The tech fest is a grand show of tech skills everyone showcases and competes others who are good in that field. We also celebrate Annual Day thats also a grand event showcasing cultural skills of the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible as our college is state funded. Our fees is around 30,000 per sem. This meagre amount is very reasonable and is affordable by all students. It also waives the tution fee for eligible candidates under the TFW scheme. Therefore the fees is good and reasonable.

Fees and Financial Aid

ST SC students of our college can avail for Post Matric Scholarship. They get 50,000 per year. General students can apply for Medhabruti which pays 10,000 if scored above 75%in the career.

Campus Life

3

Boys are quite abundant obviously as this is an Engineering college. We have fresher parties. We have a robotics club, we make robots and take them to compete with other students from different colleges on a higher level. Annual sports is held every year there is no politics there is no diversity all are equal.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

We have great hostel facilities. 3 students per room are allotted we also have mess facilities. We get good food and we(Hostel Boarders) have the power to eliminate the recent caterer and demand for a new if delivered bad food. We pay around 35,000 for hostel and food combined for a year.

Alumni/Alumna

The interaction with our college seniors is great, they treat us as friends. We get to know about prospective futures from them. Alumni guide us on selecting jobs at different companies.

Exam Structure

We have 2 Internals and one end sem exam in a semester and we have viva for all subjects before end sems. We have a lab everyday. No the exams are not hectic we get enough time to prepare. Labs are in no way hectic we get to our rooms till 4 and the Labs are always fun.

Admission

I gave an Entrance exam JEE. With the help of that score I applied for different colleges this college and selected a branch. Then I was allotted to me based on my scores. Then I visited the college and Filled all my credentials and got Admitted to the Computer Science.

Faculty

4

We have highly qualified faculty they help us in every manner we get all our doubts cleared by them. They teach us with great efficiency all the students in the class understands what is being taught. I enjoy attending all the classes and its fun to learn about computers anyway.

I would rate the placements at my college as 3 out of 5. Students usually become eligible for campus placements from the sixth or seventh semester, and a few well-known companies do visit the campus every year. The placement cell helps with basic training like resume building and interviews, and many students, especially from IT branches, manage to secure jobs. At the same time, the average salary packages are not very high and top roles are limited, so a lot of students also focus on skill development, off-campus opportunities or higher studies after completing their degree

Students are eligible for placement from their 3rd year onwards. It has been only 2-3 months but I have seen several companies arriving at the college, prominent ones being Flipkar,Deloitte, Xerox, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, Dell and several others including startups. There is no accurate data on how many offers have been made this year, but there are rumours that more than 95% of the eligible students have got placements. After getting a degree my plans are if I dont land into a satisfying job then I will start my preparation of the military or start a new business.
