Remarks

College campus yeah that's the thing that annoys me even my school had much bigger campus than it management is good and helpful one more thing we don't have any book bank facility in the 1st semester so that's a bit heart paining.

Entrance Preview

I took WBJEE and secured a rank of 12347 i opted this college because its a semi-government college and it does not has any dress code so be its like be what you are.

Course Curriculum Overview

2.5

Actually my college just focuses on the completion of the course and as far as research is concerned one has to do it on his own. College provides lots of opportunities and organises lots of workshops et cetera, interested ones can use them as a platform.

Internships Opportunities

No, I don't have any idea about it but I think our college might be providing proper internship to its students.

Placement Experience

1.5

Actually in west bengal, placements are provided to mainly CSE, IT and ECE students only. Hardly any core branch engineer gets placed from Bengal to core companies. So as per my branch its OKAY. And our college has a very good placement record for the past few years.

College Events

3.5

Recently we had freshers party named Bihaan and an annual sports event is going to be organised in the coming week and its named ATHIJIYO. besides there are lots of workshops organised by almost every department several times a year. being a student of 1st year, i don't really have much idea about it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is quite feasible and very much affordable.our fees are decided by the government and it changes slightly every year but still its much much cheaper than Bangalore, Delhi, Bhuvaneshwar. in my time, the annual fees was around 95000 only.

Fees and Financial Aid

Well there are lots of scholarship schemes available in our college but most of those schemes are only for the residents of West Bengal. Recently half fee waiver scheme was implemented for students having low family income and residents of WB but still there are some foreign scholarships which are available for students of other states too.

Campus Life

2

Our college students of different states, ethics, race, religion, language and gender study and spend a good and healthy college life together. the gender ratio may be 50-50. and since there is no dress code so you can wear kurta-payjama, hijab, etc without any restriction.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Our college does not has any hostel or mess facility. one has to board in a private hostel or a PG our college does has a canteen and a cafeteria whose foods are average from internal sources i came to know that government has allotted land for hostels,so we might have one in recent years.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni and seniors, well i don't know any alumni of our college yet but i came to know many seniors here in just two or three months. they are really helpful. they lend you books, bikes and offer tea , coffee or cigarette whichever you like.

Exam Structure

When it comes to exams, i would say its a bit hectic and a bit chilled out. We hav to appear for two internals for a semesters and best of two are taken in consideration. at the end of six monthed semester we have to appear for an end semester exam. Sometimes assignments and projects have to be submitted. We have to attend labs that too for 3 days in a week.

Admission

I got admission in this institute through WBJEE counselling I registered on WBJEE site for counselling and then filled my choices and when i got choice of my liking in and round I provisionally booked my seat. And then went to the mentioned institute and took admission.

Faculty

2.5

Most of the faculties are very and highly qualified actually one is not going to get any highly qualified faculty in their 1st year and from 2nd year onward one starts getting what he is expecting. The faculties use Bengali sometimes so it may create a bit of problem to students who don't understand Bengali.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
