College is definitely best in central India and student crop is good in here. Progress of college is quite remarkable in recent past. Although management has tighten its rule yet it remains the best pick to have a college life and yeah second shift is not advisable.

After appearing in class 12th in 2010, I took MH-CET same year and scored 93/200. As this college was best in central India and was also listed in top 100 colleges of India along with a history of more than 25 years, I opted for this college. The most sensible thing that attract me towards this college is, transparent process of admission. No donation, no backdoor entry, only merit based admission.

Course curriculum is updated now and is up to mark with current scenario. Opportunities are provided to work on corporate level projects. Course structure is backed up with practicals and labs are there in every department with specialized faculties. Grants are also provided and students could choose mentors for support. As is the story of every other college, few students focus on research voluntarily and others are pushed by curriculum to do so.

Till 2014, college doesn't provide any kind of internship. In 2015 after getting full autonomous status, it reserved 6th or 7th semester for internship.

Placements are consistently above 85% from last 5 years. If you want a job, you can easily get it. There are many reputated in IT industries which comes for recruitment and every students with above 60% is eligible to appear in their process. More than 70% students are placed in IT industry with average package of 3.5 lpa. Core companies of civil and mechanical are less as compared to IT in placements. Overall if you want job, you will get one.

There is cultural fest of every department in the month of August. Then there is fresher party in month of October and technical fests of every department in the month of December. 3 day College cultural fest is conducted in the month of January and farewell party is organized in month of March.

Fess is at par with facilities. It is approximately 1,50,000 per annum. Scholarships are provided by college to economically weak students and government scholarships are also granted to applicable students. So it is feasible for some and expensive for others. Also its a bit expensive if hostel and mess fee is added.

Campus life is cool with other students being from good academic background and it keep encouraging individual to do good in respective field. Sports competition are organized under branch cup and trial are conducted to represent college at university level. Students selected are awarded extra marks for their efforts. Technical and managerial workshops are conducted throughout session. Labs are underutilized due to lack of interest among students.

College has in-campus boys and girls hostel. There is separate wing for first year students, LAN connectivity is in every room and adequate parking space is available. Volleyball grounds and basketball courts are available. Mess food is alright. Breakfast, Lunch and dinner is provided and quality is ok.

There was no organized alumni network till 2011. But since then, alumni network is well connected. Alumni meets are organized every year in India and abroad. Newsletters were send by colleges but still there is a lot to improve in this area. Networking needs to be more helpful.

Schedule is balanced with 3 practicals, 2 hour each, once a week and one practical a day. So it is not so hectic. Sometimes assignments could be burden as it doesn't serve the purpose it intend to do. Internal tests are conducted twice a semester and marks of these tests are considered in final total.

After MH CET results were declared, notification was released about counseling on college website. First counseling was scheduled within 25 days and the cutoff was high in that. Second counseling was conducted as per pre decided schedule for vaccant seats. Students were called as per merit with vaccant seats in respective branches displayed on projector. If interested, documents are verified and DD of first year fee is collected immediately. Rest information about joining date is updated on website. I secured admission through same process. All details were displayed on website in mid-April every year.

Department of Industrial Engineering has highly qualified faculties. Most of them have phd while remaining are pursuing it. They are easily accessible and helps students whenever required. Guest faculties are invited to encourage students and to talk about career prospects. Faculties are very strict about attendance and if you have less than 75% then get ready to loose some marks.
