MES College of Arts, Commerce & Science is an institution accredited to Bangalore University. Comparatively it is a very old and reputed institution.The academic performance in science is excellent and consistent when compared to commerce. Facilities like

Entrance Preview

Admission was based on PUC marks. I had scored 70% in PUC.BCom is the ideal course which helps commerce students which made me to choose the course.

Internships Opportunities

We had only one industry visit during the final year. There was no other internship programs offered. But we did have internship guidance which was available after completing CA foundation from companies like KPMG.

Placement Experience

Placement assistance was above average .Companies like HP, Projeon, Goldmans Sachs & Dell came for campus interviewsHP, Dell and Projeon offered 1.2 lakhs paGS offered 2.2 laksh pa.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee was very feasible 3000 per year. The above fee at that time was very feasible because this institution is partly funded by government .Exam fee was paid separately apart from the annual fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not much knowledgeable about the facility of scholarship but there were certain scholarships available based on need and the management was fully supportive about this.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network not very effective as of now. Senior students/classmates placed in different domains like radio jockey, movies, corporate, professional practice and social service.

Exam structure for this course is 100% theory by written exams.Labs not applicable for this course.

Perfect for Online Programs

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rat 8/10 as the course was pretty good, I learnt eaverything in my B.com, whether its abut marketing, finance, sales , accounts. So basically it included everything a student needs in their graduation. I suggest that there should have been regular classes with encourages student teacher interaction.

MY COLLEGE MY BEST DAYS

Remarks:

In our period it was prestigious to study commerce stream in our college and had good rating for the course and the for students who passed out from that college. The management had good lot of concern about the poorer section of the society and hence kept the fee structure at a very nominal level and thus help to get education for all

Well it was the best days in life I had with friends

Remarks:

They need to improve little infrastructure .they are improving but still need to do. They also have to put some efforts to help students excel in their overall development and rest everything is fine here in canara, i loved studying in this college. Faculties are also good,friendly in nature.
