AIEEE 200 scored but got easily admission self learning required in college. For bachelor's it's beat private university.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is simular to IIT Kanpur faculty is not so good but it's hardly matters engineers re self learners self learning required in college. For bachelor's it's beat private university all students are placed but average package is low but if you compare with LPU and other private university it's good.

Stipend depend on job general my for M-Tech students 15-25k self learning required in college. For bachelor's it's beat private university.

College Events

Foundation Day, Club Cultural Event, Sports Day, Hackathon free to organize any event, management is very supportive so many students organized many programs there cultural fest also celebrated there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is similar or little less than other private university at my time fees we around 4.5 all including hostel and it should be same if you consider other private university than its little cheaper.

Yes scholarship can be availed UpTo 50℅ of fees and loan is offered by all banks as it's UGC/AICTE recognized.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is strict and level is average CGPA system is there so relative rating system.is there which place students on bell shape curve for ranking from 1-10 Average student gets 7 CGPA and there will be 1/2 students which will get 10 CGPA.

Admission

Taken AIEEE exam , attended counseling at Chandigarh and easily got the admission AIEEE 200 scored but got easily admission. Self learning required in college. For bachelor's it's beat private university. No more to say overall good.

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
