Factors that made me choose New Delhi Institute of Management(NDIM) college affiliated to Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) were faculty members, environment, was near home, conferences and activities conducted on regular basis, placements

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is easy and understandable and for non-maths students in 11th-12th you might find difficulty in maths in first year else is easy and faculty members are enough helpful you to succeed in your life

Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I interned under Shriram Life Insurance Company(SLIC) and Jmarathon Advisory services Pvt ltd company provided by college No stipend was provided and Jmarathon Advisory services Pvt ltd company helps us to know with the stock market and SLIC covers insurance market and overall process was great Otherwise I personally did an internship under CA Atul Agarwal and associates.

Various companies visit for not only final job placement but also for internship There's a regular update of placement or vacancies in the companies they are associated with or companies who visit our college And allumni networking are also nice

College Events

There are conferences held and college students do participate in various inter-college competition and there is one main competition held each year named as MANTHAN which is like other DU cultural fest or IPU fest Anugoonj

Campus Life

Size of library is enough and all equipments are available in lab and there's a sports society who go out and book courts to play no campus infrastructure for sports Class rooms are enough big for 60 and plus students to study. There is practice area as well for dance and fashion show as well

Good Exposure in Event Management Field

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

BEYOND THE BOOKS COLLEGE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. The teachers also continuously conduct tests and examinations for improving the academics of the students

Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.
