Review of my college

When a student is caught during alcohol or smoking he is fined for 1000. We all know if parents can pay about 2 lakh per year, student will pay fine but don't stop those bad habits.

I took JEE MAINS i scored 55 in it i took the course because I was interested in it. This college is best option for me because 1 near to my hometown education is good as I heard placement they focus on teaching us discipline.

Course curriculum is 75% xerox of every other college my friends studying at LPU and CU and even at NIT Hamirpur have same course structure. But the way they have divided the course is great. IT don't give us extra stress. Research is more in electrical branch. Computers are more focused on programming I guess. But college provides us with facility of patent.

In my best knowledge I know Mahindra provides internship on the basis of a quiz the stipend is about 15k approx.

Placements I've heard that maximum time is 100%. Companies like HCL infosys wipro cognizant even tech mahindra l&t Piaggio Samsung Amazon visit our university. They provide packages ranging from 3.8 lakhs to 22 lakhs (Amazon). Maximum takeout is from wipro and infosys.

We have 3 events in our college. One is cultural fest that is algorythm. This fest holds maximum number of participation. Other is techleone which is our technical fest and last one is athlos which is sports fest and it have least no. Of participation. Only management and students participate in it. No external participation.

Fees structure is expensive no doubt. 75000 per semester excluding hostel fees. It's high as compared to other colleges. As in all creamy layers colleges we gave to pa around 1.2 lakhs including hostel fees. Here we have to pay alone 1.2 lakh only for hostels and 1.5 for academic. After 4 years we have loosen our pockets to 10 lakh and other expenses.

No there's nit any loan facility or scholarship offered by the college even at such a huge fees per semester.

Gender ratio is about 1:10.parties are something that we seldom see. The politics are high in the campus rest is just a minimal. Anyone can tolerate a little. Economically every one is from upper middle class family. Some may feel inferior to another but still even richest of richest have paid same fees like everyone. Workshops held regularly and they are very interesting and full of things. I love attending them. We meet new people and learn new things.

Hostel facilities are 9 on scale of 10. We have to share 1 room of 3 mates, 2 in case of girls we are provided with two ceiling fan and one cooler. Girls are provided with AC. We don't have to bring our own mattresses its provided by hostel for pg its nearly about 5000 a month but facilities.

Yes I've personally met few of our alumni they are very helpful. They've came here for a visit and for induction and orientation of new comers. They told us how to study during first two years. Also did they provided with us guidance how to survive hostel lide and what to do if a senior teases you. Also did they told us not to fall in love during first year.

Exams are very frequent but not that they don't leave us with time to chill. Labs are only at the end semester examination. We have 3 sessional test held in a semester and 3 IEC for math with one end term examination. Out of three sessional test only two are counted fir 40% weightage in final cgpa and 50% is from end term examination and rest is from internal assessment.

Notification was released in end of April but still I filled my for in june end of june it was last counseling. I have to first fill a form and mail it to their administrative office at sector 9c. I also have to visit there on 30 june for counseling. The counseling is just for name. I just have to submit all my documents and pay the fees and done administration is really professional. They know how to handle the crowd and also very helpful.

Every faculty have their own mindset. Like some care fir students welfare while some just came to the our attendance. Most labs especially Auto-cad lab are boring. They just only teach us how to draw circle line and stuffs and torture us till the period gets over. No one is allowed to leave. We just kept on watching videos on Youtube nut labs are easy every one can do those work if they have proper knowledge about the topic. Rest Maths E.D. Electrical and chemistry teacher are best.
