B. E in C. S is a programme designed to apply analytical skill. B. E+M.B.A has its own advantage. I would like to do MBA after B. E. so i choose dual degree. Thapar provide dual degree programme. The benefit of dual degree is i get two separate degree 1 for B. E and 1 for MBA at the end of 5th year.

Course Curriculum Overview

Thapar has a campus of 300 acre in patiala. Thapar university Dera Bassi campus is for MBA. Thapar institute faculties have practical and technical knowledge so special programme is designed to apply analytical skill and demonstrate research capabilities in the field of computer science. It enable you to work in multidisciplinary environment.To choose dual degree course is a great option for those who would like to take up MBA aftet B.E.you don't need to under go MAT and any other competitive exam for MBA admission.

Placement Experience

BE+MBA students get various unique opportunities. students have an option to earn up to 50% of the credit from one of partner universities of Texas, US, University of malta. highest package was 25 lac per annum after MBA. c. s+MBA course is successful. thapar stand around 21st rank in MBA which is decent.

College Events

Campus life is very cool. LMThapar school of mgt is a top ranked business school in India. Thapar patiala campus is located in urban area. almost every facilities are availabe in this campu. Dera bassi set up was initially present in Thapar's patiala. It is shifted to Dera bassi as LMTSOM, dera bassi. Dera bassi is located in the middle of a village. but it all about your perception choice BE+MBA degree at thapar.

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

All about my college

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

Good College, Placement and Great Infrastructure and Facilities

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of Delhi University was fabulous well educated professors were there and in chandigarh University too the faculty is quite good and helping in nature. Faculty is always ready to help students at both universities. They teaching style is fabulous at both places. There were only semester exams in Delhi University and some internal tests and practical file marks were there butin chandigarh University we have exams every month this must be changed

Honest is the best Policy

I was getting addmission in some other private colleges but this was near to me and had a great rew.. Its infra and hostels are really worth it. i applied for lnmiit college jaipur . there i was expecting computer branch but did got electronics branch so i didnt went there.here in thapar it was based on jee mains percentile for addmission. computer branches were available till 89 percentile for punjab students and till 94 percentile for outside punjab students. so i had percentile of 95 so i easily got computer branch over here....Read More
