Remarks

I was getting CSE which I was interested in at this college and since it has a well established coding culture and almost 100% placements for CSE,I chose this college. Apart from it, it was close to my hometown.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum seems to be a but old but the students and faculties are trying their level best to improve the academic quality and be more skill oriented. Apart from it, the students have developed a quite good coding culture and organise a coding festival named Hack A Bit where students from all across the India come and participate.

Course Fees: INR 1175000 per year

Placement Experience

The Placements and job opportunities are great here at BIT Mesra. Almost 100% students get placed in CSE and IT branch. Other branches also have a very great placement ratio. Few students opt for higher studies every year. Few open their own startups some of which are Lenskart, White Hat Junior, Ethereal (YouTube). Overall I can say the college provides ample opportunities to sit for the Placements.

College Events

There are several events organised in our college by several clubs present in the campus throughout the year. Apart from it the major fests celebrate d in our college are -cultural fest named Bitotsav, technical fest named Pantheon, Sports fest named Vajra. Overall foootfall of these fests are almost 10-15K annually.

In this college there are so many courses you have in your personal interest the curriculum and exam structural is great but since this policy affiliated to Ranchi University the exams are taking too much time. Srinath university is a good college overall but in developing stage. It will be very better in upcoming years.

B.Sc chemistry is a very diverse course in which onr can go in teaching line to M.Sc in biochemistry to become medical college professors and also can go in technical line like metallurgical department and others. The placement of the college is average over all. 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies are Tata motors, Tata steel, Nathcorp etc. The highest package is 6.5L and average is 3.5L as per profiles offered. 60-70 % students getting placements.

The placement of IIT dhanbad is very good and it offers a average package of 24lpa with highest package of 66lpa this year. Also every year more than 70% students get placed in our college. Specially the core companies shows a lot of interest in our college like coal india, sail, gail, petroleum industries companies, mining companies , etc Average package of cse here is 28lpa with 90% placement rate. Average of electrical is 23lpa with placement rate of 80%. Similarly, every branch average package lies between 18lpa to 24lpa.

This is private university the exam should be in time the semester end as their time my course (B pharm) is a chem. Based course so their should be proper lab that should teach the necessary I think the faculty members should start teaching with basic cuz many students come from govt.school so they don't know the basis so teachers should not humiliate them and teach them politely and interact with every students not just the topper and bright student

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

This college is an engineering college and I choose this college for a Btech degree in civil engineering. The teacher faculty is pretty well they teach us and do many practical labs. The student ratio in my class is 50:11 which means 50 boys and 11 girls in my branch. Mainly they all are DR they have dr degrees and they method is simply not like an extraordinary teacher. In my college teacher took all the exams at timely and it is not very difficult to pass

Overall Experience and all reality of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Admission experience is obviously good because why would a clg not welcome a laxmi lol jk....Read More
