Thapar Institution is NAACA+ grade Indian private institution. its NIRF ranking is 29 now. As my rank in Jee Main was low so I was not alloted any govt College. only choice left was to choose pvt college. In thapar institution i got punjab quota. Among pvt institution thapar is best for B. tech in computer science.
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculity members in our college are best. their way of teaching is good. They provide notes which are very helpful for students for upgradation and in their placement. thapar Inst is little expensive but one can expect good placement after completion of course. It focus on both theretical and practical aspect of learning. Thapar inst invite application on the basis of jee main score as well as through lateral entry (LEET).
Placement Experience
Almost 45% of students get internship from our college. placements are average. highest package of 39 LPA was offered and average package is 7 LPA. companies that visit are amazon, microsot, MRF, nestle, reliance and many more. Thapar is a good college if you afford its high fees. It is 60 years old so many companies comes to take students for internship programme.

Thapar institute is located in the heart of patiala. campus life is fabulous. campus is very huge with lot of greenery. Thapar is famous for its societies and clubs. It has all sorts of activities. Alumni network of thapar count to 18000+.All famous functions of punjab are celebrated here. The hostel mess cater to all all the food and nutritional requirement of students.
Campus Life
Thapar campus is in 250 acre land. it has six seven academic blocks. library remains open for 24 hours. library has four reading halls. There is a sport complex. facilities of cricket ground, swimming pool, basket court, football ground. There is a seminar hall and waiting room. There are so many labs. hostel facility is available to both boys and girls.
