Remarks
I had heard great things about IPU from my parents and colleagues, and it being a state university was an added bonus. I applied for my college mainly because of its IPU affiliation, and also because of google reviews and with the rank that i scored in JEE, it was the best option
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus is old and needs an update. Its not at par with industry standards with students being taught languages like C which have no real world use because it being so old. Since im in 2nd year right now, i cannot comment on the industrial exposure given. The staff faculty is good, they provide with enough study material and are happy to provide help when needed
Placement Experience
Dont know about placements because there was no one in our 4th year this year, hence there where no companies or placements.
College Events
The college doesnt have any hostels, hence its basically like school, extracurricular activities are good because of clubs, like singing, dancing, arm wrestling etc. Due to COVID, there were no events which where scheduled to happen this year
Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is really poor. No common play ground, A small cafeteria, the whole college is just 3 buildings, its smaller than most apartment buildings. Considering its a state affiliated college, its really poorly maintained with only few classes having AC those too dont work half the time. No campus Wifi. The only redeeming quality is a small but fulfilling library
