Vivekananda college provide B. Sc (hons) in mathematics. It is a public college recognised by UGC. It is affiliated to delhi university. It is nearby my house. after doing B. sc i will receive vast opportunities in future.

Course Curriculum Overview

Admission in this college in UG courses is on the basis of merit. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the score obtained in HSC. B. sc (hons) mathematics course is spread across six semester, each year two semester. DU conduct scholarship exam. student who has cleared 12th with aggregate of 55% is eligible for exam. faculties have practical knowledge. new teachers are very friendly.course is completed step by step.

Placements are not many in our college. B. sc and B. com hons get placement. few companies visit for placements. students participate in Seminars. mostly students get off campus placement in marketing, finance or opt for higher degree.

campus is good VivekaNanda College is known for its campus. There is a well stocked library and fully computerized labs. There is a big auditorium. all fest are celebrated. There is a common room and waiting room also. hostel facility is not available in this college but canteen provide tasty food and all other eatables.

Placement Experience:

Placements at my college are average, students become eligible from around the 5th semester. A few companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in entry level positions. The average package is moderate, while higher package are limited. Around 70 to 80% of students get placed. I plan to focus on skill development and explore better opportunities after completing my degree.

The course i am engaged is BA HONOURS ENGLISH in DAULAT RAM COLLEGE, UNIVERSITY OF DELHI, the course offered is comprehensive, interesting and detailed. The faculty of English honours department is fully supportive of the students, the faculty members do not just give theory or bookish knowledge but also help us improve our communication in English language. We have studied many areas of literature within the course offered- ROMANTIC LITERATURE, EUROPEAN LITERATURE, INDIAN LITERATURE, AMERICAN LITERATURE, DALIT LITERATURE AND EVEN REGIONAL LITERATURE TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH. Aspects of the GGSIP University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant as it contains useful concepts which a management student should know. And the concepts are very comprehensive and easy to understand. Examples are given in the curriculum which prepares us for the real world. Some teachers use the presentation based teaching which is good and should be encouraged. The exams are not that difficult for one who is atleast decent in studies.

Placement Experience:

Placements are available in college, the drive is quite extensive, everyone is made aware of the choices and options and counselling is present too. It is from the third year, students are eligible to apply for placements. Companies and organisations take part such as Niti ayog, Times, Geostrata, Prajatantra foundation, etc. Those who desire usually work on their CVs, keep on doi internships and then get a placement. The packages are not that impressive to be honest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a seat in Ramjas College. It is a north-campus college. The infrastructure is too good compared to the remaining colleges. The teaching also going well but I faced some language problems. I'm from south India so I don't understand Hindi properly. But here mostly they teach in Hindi only and English is used very rarely.

Life in Kirori Mal College.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. I don't know a lot about campus placements but I know that there is a training and placement cell in our college that provides good packages to many students. Some students got more than 7lpa last year. I will be doing my Post graduation after college and will make a career in academics.

Vivekananda College is a dream of every girl!

Hindi Hons are not offered by all DU colleges, as though my parents warned me for a girls college and top level girls colleges like the Gargi, LSR or KNC. So, with a score of 600 in UG CUET available girls college was ours. That is the procedure not just for our college but all the DU colleges. Firstly admission in the college are done under cuet examination we have to give that first then we have to apply for different university website for our admissions .and cuet is the only exam all the student have to give for the admissions and cuet examination experience is good as it is our first cbt based exam held . Studying in a girl's college of DU feels like...

I selected this college due to my course preference. I'm from the science stream and wanted to study Food Technology as well as English. At the time of application i had no idea how BA Program works.
