Remarks

College is not so good, not so bad. Teachers back then were good, and helped us with our doubts, as in they used to ask us to study by ourselves but if we have doubts they had the knowledge enough to help us. Later on even that faded out it seems. So it was just u who had to study by urself. But anyway that helps u later on. as in when u get into companies.

Entrance Preview

Had completed my Diploma so it was an admission through CAP rounds, I had scored distinction so was expecting to go for D. Y. Patil Pimpri, but the fees in this college was a little less than the other colleges so had to go with this.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

We had library, to access the study material. We had full freedom to use any available books in any shelves, which was really helpful. Moreover we had the facility to jot down the notes from any of the reference books while we are in the library. The library had sufficient amount of books in it. Never fell short on any required book.

Internships Opportunities

No our college never provided any internship or internship programs, neither did they support one. Infact in the latter period when a few of us could find jobs, they are asked to be available in college as per guidelines from Pune University.

Placement Experience

0.5

There are multiple companies named in the College brochure. but, believe us, back till 2013 not even 1 company visited our company. So Campus placement was a myth for the students of this college. Even when we had marks and caliber to crack the interviews we could never make it to the big companies from College. We had to struggle for almost a year and take courses from other institutes in order to even appear for the interviews.

College Events

2

College never had many events the students committee which tried to do any events was always dominated. we used to have events once in a couple of years. Later on that too was stopped as the last one ended up in a riot with local hooligans. Who were never invited but always think that it their property.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure used to feasible that was one of the important reason to have whatever crowd we had in that college. Otherwise, according to our knowledge there was hardly any person who wanted to come to this college. This college is considered to be good for nothing but then its always about what you take things from whatever u have.

Fees and Financial Aid

No none scholarship / loan facility was offered by our college that I have known of. Neither any scholarship / loan facility was made available by our college that I have availed. The concession in fees that was given by Pune University was the only so called scholarship available.

Campus Life

2

The campus life was not so good, not so bad gender ratio was good, we had some 70 girls to 90 boys roughly so things used to be quite energetic. About extracurricular activities there were not many sports is something that we used to try to perform. Students used to participate in robotics, and were delighted to do that.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

There was a girls hostel, we never heard that there was any boys hostel. Girls hostel something that girls can elaborate not us, we were not allowed and we never tried to get in. they had a ground adjacent to GIRLS HOSTEL building, so we used to play there and troubled the watchmen for water nothing else.

Alumni/Alumna

There is no alumni group we tried to catch up with a few but that was from our end. College never had a send-off so talking about alumni group is like expecting too much there wasn't anything helpful as there was nothing.

Exam Structure

Exams were conducted rigorously, hence we had to study hard all time of the year, but it used to pay off during the finals. Lab sessions used to be good. Not that our teachers taught us anything but we used to get enough time to study by ourselves, write a code, get it working and then share it with the teacher and rest of the class. It was pain back then, but frankly now we see that things are easier for us now.

Admission

Admission process was really smooth. We had to carry the DD if not get it from the bank which was located just behind the college. so things went in a good order. The procedure was carried out in library and had good amount of staff allocated for this.

Faculty

3

Faculty previously was really good. Our H.O.D. Snehal Nargundi, was really knowledgeable, she provided us help on all the subjects we had doubt with. She was very kind and always treated students are their responsibility, She guided us well, and also taught us how to go about any exam in order to study it thoroughly. Same was the case with Shikha Pachouli, our second H.O.D..

I choose this course because I have genuine interest in civil engineering. The faculty student ration is 1:50. Our faculties are well qualified they are master's degree holders in design and structural engineering. Some of them are PhD holders and many of them have done their master's from NIT and IIT. Term exams are scheduled after every 2 months. it is easy to pass because it consists of 30 marks only.
