Remarks

The college in overall terms was above average but not best in its class. So I hope that the management hears the recommendations with an open ear as these changes may take the college ahead in becoming the best in the league.

Entrance Preview

I opted for this course as it had a broad and general outlook as compared to the other courses. Also I am pursuing C.A, so this course was complementing it the most.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is somewhere above average but not very innovative. There should be more focus on research work, team building etc. So there is a need to focus on holistic development of the student through research work. There are subjects which can be merged into one, and other new subjects can be introduced for the growth of the children.

Internships Opportunities

No, as per my knowledge, there was no such provision. Infact even in the final year placement cell the Principal did not allow C.A. firms to come for selection. This particular thing was very disappointing.

Placement Experience

3

The placement cell was average, as compared to the other colleges in the vicinity. The companies were underpaying and there were hardly any appealing job opportunities. Other colleges had more paying and more appealing job opportunities. The college management needs to understand that there is an urgent need to allow good companies to come to the college for talent acquisition.

College Events

3.5

The annual fest that our college holds is Lashkara, its average as compared to other top colleges. The commerce society(of whom I was the vice president) holds Comzone, the commerce fest was the best in college, but not up to the mark due to lack of support from college in the form of funds, infrastructure.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees in our college was among the highest in the university. It was around 20000 per year. Whereas in other colleges it was merely arount 6000-7000. So this was something again that stopped this college from becoming the best. However the infrastructure was good but not as lavish as the fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship that was available was merely 5000 and that too was not awarded in each year. So without undermining their support, the scholarship amount can be increased and made available to more students.

Campus Life

3.5

The gender ration in our college was surprisingly opposite. Their were more girls than boys. The campus life was amazing. I learnt a lot from it. As there were less true and more mean people, so this was somehow a blessing in disguise as it teaches you a lot.

Hostel Facilities

3

The mess food was really not upto the mark except for the Kachori there were not many options to choose from and the options that were there were not as good in taste. Whereas there was a lot of variety in other college canteens. The hostel facilities as per what I have heard were good.

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni network does not exist. There are not alumni meets. As an alumni I would request the college management to setup a team for this purpose as the students will be delighted to accept any such invitation.

Exam Structure

The exam process was good on overall basis, the half year semester system was partially chilled out whereas in alternate semesters it was little hectic but it maintained a consistent continuity and the exam structure proved to be good. Hence, there is a need to lower down the fees so that at the time of payment, it does not pinch the students.

Admission

Firstly after qualifying class 12th we filled the centralized university form. There we had to choose the college and course of our choice. Then came the cut off and as per the cut off I was eligible to take admission in this college. The administration staff was somewhere around average. Throughout the course the admin staff lagged coordination and was full of mis - management.

Faculty

3

The faculty was good and were all ears to any career related problems of the students. They were supportive for the events that we organized in the college and motivated us to develop further. But there were cetain faculties who were not up to the mark.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I really was interested in finance and taxation from the beginning. This course aligned rightly with my interests. The curriculum is based on real world applications. Corporate accounting, financial accounting, company law, human resource management, these are very important considering change in the job market and business world. Not only real world applications but one can also go for further academic pursuit such as a master's degree and research. This makes the curriculum really diverse. Some areas of suggestions would be that in theory subjects there should be practical activities. Just like vestibular training. The time of exams is just right. After the completion of syllabus of a particular subject, we are given 10 days of preparation leave. The exams are moderate and it really tests our ability and knowledge based on our studies.

Placement Experience:

For placements fifth semester student are eligible for placements. Since it is best commerce college. Companies like big 4, google, bank of America, Goldman Sachs, bcg, bain and co., Sbi, paytm, meesho and many more comes. The highest package was 36 LPA this year from meesho for senior analyst roles. Average package is 10 LPA. Most of the placements take place in consulting, marketing, auditing, finance and analyst roles. Around more than 50% of the students get placed. My plan is to take placements in consulting and finance roles after the degree from the college.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good the percentage of students is not same always it changes but only those students with proper knowledge, experience, skills get good placement. There is a proper placement cell for this which is very active. Prepare for government exams (SSC, UPSC, etc.) Go for higher education (PG, B.Ed., MBA, etc.) Enroll in skill-based or professional certification courses outside college

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In open learning management.. they provide hard copy of books tk prepare whole semester and this is a very good thing because those books are covering whole semester in some books only and there is a v good thing I found... At the end of every chapter they provide summaries and mock questions for every chapter to analyse the weakness and strength. the areas for improvements in the Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods--- they should also provide a mock test paper as per the paper model and latest questions or updated topics with to the point topics The difficulty is normal if candidate is completely prepared...

Academically you can choose it but if you are looking for some fancy institution with some best infrastructure and fancy canteen I won't suggest you this college. But this college has one of the very best cricket team and one of our student named Mayank dagar is leading Indian National under-19 team. So I think you understand the impact.
