Remarks

The management does it's job really well. Teachers aren't supportive . I wish they beleive in teaching more than doing their own work.

Entrance Preview

I gave the JEE MAINS for getting into this college. I got a rank of 1239. I also had other options like NSIT, Dwarka and the University of British Colombia, Vancouver. I rejected the first because it was far away from my residence and i did not wanted to live in a hostel. I reside in pitampura. It takes 2 hours to travel from Pitampura to Dwarka by public transport. Next, I rejected UBC because of the high fees charged.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure is good. However i don't like what we are taught in the first year. We study physics chemistry mathematics enginnering graphics and many more subjects that have nothing to do with my stream.Stream related education will begin from 2nd Year onwards.

Internships Opportunities

Yes my college provides internship in the third year. One such company i know about was Amazon who hired around 5 interns from my college at a pay of Rs.40,000 per month. No internships are provided for students in first and second year.

Placement Experience

5

Placements are really well.Google,amazon,samsung,Erricso,IBM,TCS,Wipro,infosys. All the companies hire students from packages ranging from about 3 lacs to 1.5 cr as per last year statistics. The college offers a scheme for students who wish to do a startup. They can sit in placements one year after they graduate in case they wish to do a startup.

College Events

5

We had fresher's last month. It was an amazing week. We had Dandiya night during the freshers week. We enjoyed alot. Partied till late night . The Cultural council does it's work really well. We have our cultural fest in Feb. It is on a very large scale. Last year Vishal Shekhar were called for a concert.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure increased this year to about 1.5 lac for the first year. It increases every year. It is affordable as compared to other private colleges who charge about 5 -10 lacs per annum. But being a govt institute, the fees could have been less. So overall, it's feasible to pay 1.5 lac for the infrastructure and the education we receive.

Fees and Financial Aid

Department Toppers are provided scholarships from the second year onwards. How ever, no scholarship is given on the basis of ranks of entrance exam.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ration is low,Campus life is too good. It feels good to roam around the 165 acre campus which has a lake of it's own.Sports are taken seriously. We have a big sports complex in the campus. Labs are well maintained.Co curricular activities keep on happening in our college.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

I haven't been to the hostel yet, but what I've heard is that mess food is Okay-ish. Ghar ka khaana is still remembered by the hostelers. Non-hostelers can eat mess food by paying Rs.40. Hostel's are well made having Gym,Table tennis and many other facilites.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are very helpful. Nobody says NO in DTU. I had an interaction with an alumini. Arnav Gupta works with coding blocks and he passed out this year. I met him in a workshop he conducted in the college, and since then, I have met him thrice. Everytime i ask out a problem, he helps me.

Exam Structure

Exams aren't hectic. We have two exams, Mid-sems and End-sems in one semester. We study for 1 week during mid-sems and for 3 weeks during end-sems. Rest of the time we are free and chilled out. Labs are weekly and viva goes on continuous in every class.

Admission

The exam was conducted in the first week of april. Rank was declared in the month of june. Admissions began with the first list coming in the first week of july. College began on 1st of August. The admission process at the college was very easy. All the document list was provided before and we just had to go and submit the documents. Payments were done before hand.

Faculty

2

The faculty is completely research oriented. They have no intrest in teaching{majorly}.Teachers aren't worth the hardwork i did to get into the university. Some teachers are really very helpful and have great knowledge. But in the first year, I haven't yet found a teacher who is good at teaching.

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When it comes to curriculum everything us fine accept 1st year curriculum. My branch is ece in 1st year i have to study chemistry and physics which is no use for anybody in future it is just waste of time pretty outdated. For 2,3 and 4th year curriculum is far better than what it is in 1st year. Odd semester starts form August and after 2 month we have to give midsem exam.1 month after midsem we have to give endsem. There is very short time period between midsem and endsem examinations.Even semester starts form January everything is same as that of odd semester.

Placements are good in DTU. Usually a student is eligible to sit in placements from 4th year. Last year 325+ companies visited the campus like google, abode, Amazon, Microsoft, zomato, samsung, maruti suzuki, etc. They all have made 2050+ offers. The highest domestic package was offered by Atlanssian of 82.05LPA. The overall average package was 16.71LPA. The average package of my branch (Production and Industrial Engineering) was 12.34LPA. And in tech branches like CSE, IT it was around 24-25 LPA. Almost everyone is allowed to sit for placements. In PIE branch around 60-65% of student got placed in on campus.
