Great College with no so good crowd.

Management is not so good, there have been few issues regarding it in Saboo siddik.

I appeared for MHT-CET in 2013 for getting admission in engineering College. My entrance score was 94, i selected M.H Saboo Siddik College as it is one of the best institute for engineering in Mumbai.

It,s been a bit tough as in first year you have to study basics for each and every branch. Overall the syllabus is outdated and quite old comparing to the new technology. There are few subjects like Discrete and analog electronics which is quite interesting and there are also few subjects like Instrumentation system which i guess were of no use for our branch.

No there is nothing called as internship in Saboo Siddik, they strictly want you to attend lectures and concentrate on their submission and assignments.

If you decide to enter to saboo siddik premises make strong promise yourself that you won't get any placement in great Companies, yeah if luck is with you you might enter into any IT company like TCS. Very few students have got placement in previous years.

Ambrosia is the name of the fest celebrated every year during feb/march, Awards night is one of the best events in college. Many technical events like robo-wars and also various fun events takes place during College Festival which include various games and debate and other technical events too.

The fee structure are bit high referring to exactly what facilities college provided. Approximately Rs.1,00,000/- is the fees for engineering students of every branch. The management every year takes extra 8 thousand from every student in name of development fees.

No such scholarship is provided by the college. Yes, 25000Rs. per yer is given by State government to All minorty students (Muslim /Christian / Jain/ Sikhs).

Gender ratio in saboo siddik will be i guess 95:5 (Male:Female), there number of male crowd is much much higher than female. The college have a good past in robotics and have won many previous robotics event in past at IIT levels and many inter-college events.

I've never went to hostel so i dont have much idea about hostel. But i have heard few things from few friends that the hostel facilitities are decent with good crowd and food in any Muslim hostel will be very good for sure. But still try not to go into Hostel if dont prefer brain-wash.

The exam structure is very good for all engineering students, as we have 2 internal test and before our semester exam. The semester exams have a huge number of holidays after very exam like for 5 to 6 days. so students have enough time for preparation.

I took admission under Muslim minority quota. First i filled up the minority form then after few days we had been given our merit number. regarding to the merit number of each student respective of their wish and number of seats remaining, seats were alloted under different branch to each students.

The Faculty is good, few are a bit headache but there are few teachers who has an immense knowledge regarding their field and even about other subjects too. The Assistant are a bit cool when it comes to help students regarding any help. When you talk about head of department he's very strict related to submissions, assignment and all other things.
