I think college management is one of the best and it actually transforms the students in becoming better and confident individuals. One of the best colleges that gives hands on practical experience which helps you excel in the corporate world.
Entrance Preview
CAT i used my CAT score.however there are many other exams which are accepted by the college and hence many options are available. The college had there personal aptitude also but now I guess they use CAT and other exams score like SNAP also.
Course Curriculum Overview
Excellent course curriculum with an excellent mix of theiry and practice there is huge amount of focus on giving live presentations which inturn boosts confidence of the students the best was the begining of the curriculum that starts with screening of Mahabharata, presentation with Prof.Dilip Balm and a few other basic general personality and team building courses which were the ice brakers.
Internships Opportunities
Iam not sure about internship as it didn't provide in those days but helps its students find internship in the corporates through one of its best and renowned placement cells.
Placement Experience
It has always focused on 100% placements it strives to place almost all its students till the very end. My passing out was during recession in 2010, still they were able to keep an average package of 5lac plus so there is a great focus on placement but specially for the marketing students.
College Events
It first starts with Interdivision cultural programs and couple of events keep happening around the year including sports, dance, fashion shows, singing, plays etc with so many events,almost all the students get to participate atleast once in any of the events these events bring in a lot of fun and excitement and inturn help in personality development.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I think fees is just apt for the kind of experience and exposure the college provides its not very expensive and easy loans are available considering the brand equity of the college i think the college also has tie up with some banks for easy loans .
Fees and Financial Aid
No I am not aware of that I availed a loan on my own which I was able to repay within 2yr but I think something should be available now that can be availed by the students.
Campus Life
As there are 3other colleges under the same Balaji brand, their fierce competition in all the events that get organised there is maximum focus on extra curricular and cultural activities that help the students learn the act of organising events, budget,planning, team building and management and most importantly logistics management.
Hostel Facilities
Its a wonderful hostel and stayimg there is another great experience to cherish where a lot of learning and development happens. It teaches you to have fun while exercising good discipline there is good working condition swimming pool, gym, walking and jogging track. 3 cafetaria with good food a small stationary shop on the campus and so on.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes they are quite helpful and college keeps in touch with the Alumni for summer internships and placements.
Exam Structure
More then exams there were presentations and practicals exams were like any other normal college exam schedule wasn't very hectic but we had to make presentations almost daily which increased a lot of confidence among us because if those presentations we got more comfortable with PPTs and laptop however I feel we should have used excel also quite extensively as it is required almost daily in the corporate.
Admission
Reffered by a senior filled up the form for the college got interview call letter the admission process was quite extensive with rounds of group discussion and final interview the entire process was managed by the college students itself and was flawless and extremely systematic without involvement of any professor we were well seated and made quite comfortable not even for a minute we felt that the waiting is too long or there are any discrepancies in the entire process.
Faculty
Guest faculty to name a few Prof Ramakrishnan, Partho Bannerjee,Ramki, Prof Deshpande and a few other names that I can't recall who take most of the important classes like Marketing management,Brand management & logistic managent are wonderful and great in their respective areas. Management makes sure that they get best of the gueat faculty for the development of their students.
